Wolves

Chapter fifteen

" Kamien?! You just called that guy Kamien! But you called the wolf Kamien! What's happening?!" Nick screamed, afraid and confused.

Aliah sighs.

" Who is this?" Kamien asks.

" It's a good friend," she says.

Then she whispers something to Kamien and his eyes widen.

" Did you tell him?" He asks eyes locked on Nick.

" Uh, no, not yet," Aliah says looking at the ground.

" You should have told him earlier this wouldn't be much of a shock anymore," Kamien says, his voice low.

Nick strains to hear the two whispering back and forth.

" Fine I'll tell him," Aliah says frowning at Kamien.

She breathes in deeply.

" Ok Nick, lets talk," she says, her voice shaky.

" Ok," Nick says, now afraid of what he is going to hear.

" The wolves you saw, the Lirocane, why I called The wolf Kamien and this teenager the same name," she starts of slowly.
" It's because those wolves where looking for you," she says

Nick looks at her shock upon his face.
" Why?"

" Because," Aliah pauses and glances at Kamien. He nods.

" Because they are werewolfs, and you are their leader," she ends quickly.

" What?!" Nick yells,"werewolfs?"

" I was hoping you wouldn't hear that word," Aliah mutters.

" leader?" Nick asks," LEADER?!" he yells " why?!!!!"

Kamien sighs and looks at him.

" Because you are a werewolf too," he says.

Nick stares at him mouth wide open.

Then Nick starts laughing.

" You guys are pranking me aren't you?" Nick asks suspiciously.

" Why would we be doing that?" Kamien asks a slight smirk on his face.

" Because there is no such thing as a werewolf!" Nick yells, awfully confused.

Aliah gives him a sad look and Kamien sighs.

" Kamien," Aliah says quietly," show him. "

Kamien nods and suddenly he starts shifting.

Kamien keeps his eyes locked on Nicks and Nick stares in disbelief.

Kamien's shirt rips off and so do his pants.

He now is a large wolf with silver and black fur with a brown spot around his eye.

Nick's mouth is wide open.

Kamien rolls his eyes.

" If he can do it can you do it too?!" Nick asks Aliah.

She nods slowly.

Then she shifts.

Her muscles and bones change.

Fur grows in her arms and legs.

Her dress gets ripped in two.

Then she was siting there, the black and silver wolf with shining green eyes.

" You were that wolf?" Nick asks

She nods.

Kamien runs off and Aliah waits with Nick.

After a minute he comes back in human form with his shirt and pants on.

Then Aliah goes to shift back.

When she comes back the two boys are sitting on a large rock talking.

She wore another white cotton dress but this time she put her hair in a ponytail.

" So your telling me that I can turn to a wolf like you guys?" Nick asks scared and exited in the tone of his voice.

" Yes," Kamien says.

" Why don't I remember it?"

Aliah pauses and looks at Kamien.

He shrugs and looks at Nick.

" It's because when you where born there was an attack on our home. You were the alpha's son. They took you and hid you in the cave that is now Aliah's and then snuck back here when you were safe, through that tunnel," Kamien stops and takes a breath.

" Then they were killed in battle along with most of their pack and you were just a baby. You didn't remember anything, then someone found you and took you to the village for your safety because the pack that attacked ours was still out there, looking for dominance against every wolf pack there is. They needed to get rid of all the alpha's and the sons and daughter's of them to do so. "

He pauses again, then keeps going.

" No one spoke of your existence or where you were hidden," he ended.

He stops and looks at Aliah who had tears in her eyes, but tried not to show it.

" Then how do you know of it?" Nick asks amazed.

Kamien sighs, " you are I'm guessing..... fourteen, is that right?" Kamien asks.

" Yea"

" Well I'm eighteen and I was the one that found you. I was the one who took you to the village and saved you."

" What? why?"

Kamien takes a deep breath.

" Because I'm your brother," he says.
