Chapter twenty-eight

Nick stares at Stefanie's face, her closed eyes and how her hair fell down her back.

He shook his head in dismissal, she did not belong here, she was not a werewolf.

" who?" Kamien asks, breaking Nicks thoughts. " You said her name was Stefanie. "

" Oh yeah, she is an old friend of mine," Nick replies, unable to take his eyes off her.

Though he was not the only one that couldn't help but stare.

Mitch was scanning every inch of her face, his pale blue eyes worried and clouded.

Nick frowns.

" Lets get her to the infirmary cave," Kamien says to Mitch.

Mitch simply nods, finally taking his eyes off her, and regretting, looking back at her.

" Mitch? You ok?" Kamien asks.

" Huh? what? ummmm yeah sure Alpha Kamien," Mitch says, walking back the way to te valley.

" My best Gamma should not act that way," Kamien mutters.

" Gamma?" Nick asks.

" Gamma's are the best fighters in te pack, trained to show no mercy, trained into body builders, so that they are able to cruch boulders with their fingers," Kamien says looking at Nick.

" I've never heard of Gamma's before," Nick explains, looking after Mitch.

" Mitch is one if them," Kamien says with along sigh.

" I thought he was your beta," Nick says looking at Kamien.

Kamien suppresses a smile.

" No, I have not chosen a beta yet, I'm more of an independent kind if guy," he says smiling

Then nick thought of something.

" Isn't an alpha supposed to have a Luna? Like their mate or something?" Nick asks

" Well yeah, but you only notice your mate at the age of eighteen," Kamien explains

" Oh"

" Yeah," Kamien says looking over at Mitch," Mitch! Get that girl to the infirmary pronto!" Kamien yells.

Mitch states dumbfounded at Stefanie.

" Hmm?" He asks looking up at Kamien," oh, of course Alpha," Mitch says and sprinting over to a huge cave that nick might not have noticed before, Mitch ran inside.

" Um, how old is Mitch?" Nick asks

"Um, turning eighteen" Kamien says simply, " he is our youngest, but most skilled Gamma."

" Cool"

Kamien walks after Mitch, into the infirmary, leaving Nick and Aliah outside.

Nick sighs sadly, how did Stefanie get into the forest? So close that Mitch found her? This was to much to process. That brings his thoughts back to his home. His little sister and his mother, they must be worried sick about him. Wait. If Kamien was his brother, did that mean that mom was the old Luna of the pack? And his little sister the upcoming one after him? No. Impossible. Kamien told him that mom and dad died during the battle of the adult Lirocane
