Chapter 8-The Truth

(Update! I might not update the next few days as I have surgery on Tuesday. It isn't serious but I'll be a bit under the weather so be patient guys! As always, enjoy!)

When I got to school the next day, there was only one thing on my mind - explanations. I barely talked to Briar this morning, and all she did was give me confusing stares the whole way to school. I'm pretty sure it was extremely uncomfortable for the both of us.

I stormed straight past my friends and over to the trees to find Bigby, ignoring the various widened eyes and eyebrows raised.

"What's wrong with Snow?" Cindy whispered, eyeing me with her face full of worry.

"I dunno, but she has that crazy look in her eye," Briar replied with concern. What crazy look? I couldn't help but be slightly offended from that remark.

"She's going to talk to Bigby," even Rapunzel's eyes had widened in surprise, as did everyone else's at the table if they hadn't already. What does it matter if I was going to talk to him? Oh god, they better not be getting ideas...

"Are they dating?" Nerissa suggested. Everyone just shrugged. She had to say it of course. I knew it was coming as well...

I mean, I knew they were surprised, but did they really need to talk about it just as I was walking past? Who does that, seriously? That was sending way too many of opposite hints and now people were getting the wrong idea.

I went to the garden to try and find him, but he wasn't there. That's strange, as he was usually always here...

"Hi Snow," I spun round to see Bigby smiling at me with the perfect smile of his that just was so...amazing. Like the perfect smile you expect your perfect Prince to have...

Wait, what the hell was I saying?! I must seriously be losing my mind of this guy, or wolf.

"You scared the hell out of me!" What a nice way of saying hi Snow. I mentally praised myself because I knew he was trying it. I could see it in his perfectly hazel eyes and facial expression that he was definitely trying something. And I didn't like it.

Not one bit.

"Sorry, it's...been a rough night..." He apologised, scratching his head nervously.

"You really need to explain what happened yesterday," I folded my arms and stared as his eyes desperately tried to avoid my gaze. Yep, I've got you figured out Bigby. But how? How is it that you're a wolf? So many questions...

"Now isn't the time, the bell is gonna ring," I opened my mouth to say something but the ring of the bell interrupted me. Could he see the future now? He probably looked at the time on his phone or something, right? But how else could someone be so on point?

"How did you—" I never finished my sentence because he gave me a cheeky wink and had disappeared into the crowd almost immediately. He was crazy! Then again, I have a feeling I'm gonna hear a lot of crazy things today....

The day got worse. And I thought sitting next to Crane was bad. Why did he have to bring up the stuff I didn't want to talk about? Since when is my personal relationships with people any of his business?

"So are you guys...dating or something?" He whispered loud enough so only I could hear it. We had to work in complete silence in Mr. Geppetto's class, but of course there was always a few who broke the rules. In this case, I wish I never heard what he had said.

"Who the heck starts a conversation like that?!" I yelled at him, throwing my arms in the air slightly. He cowered and backed off, just as Mr. Geppetto marched over to us angrily with a punishment that was surely going to be delivered to me because of Ichabod.
