Update! I'm back and ready to write! Apologies in advance if this chapter might seem a bit dull, I'm still rough at trying to get back into the writing. Also, a huge thanks for 10K!! It's crazy to have this many reads, and it means so much to me. Just enjoy this brief chapter...
One day before Mary's disappearance, (as I feel it's slightly important to let everyone know where she's going).
|Mary|
"Where are you going then?" The man in the mirror asked, intrigued, as I made a few calls and paced round my room whilst doing so. I was going to see a witch about this problem, and yes I had reached that kind of low to ask help from a witch.
But if you were in my situation, you would've done the same.
"I'm going to see my witch which is something I should've done from the start. Now you stay put, be quiet and keep watch at who comes in here. Faith has been getting all too sneaky since I broke the lock on my door," I warned, taking a deep breath. I'm glad he had a mirror on the other side just for me. I felt honoured, really.
"Fine. Why'd you break the lock, if you don't mind me asking?" He queried, making me sigh in reply.
"You were there genius. I got a bit too...crazy and broke it by mistake. Now move," I commanded.
"Yeah, "accidentally..."" I heard him mutter sarcastically before disappearing to allow me passage. I took a look over my shoulder at my room, almost surprised none of the others had come up by now at all my shouting and yelling. No one was home. I stepped through, regretting not calling Bigby since I had no idea how long I'd be away for.

The alternate universe on the other side of the mirror was nothing other than...intriguing. Things would hold me back and I might stay longer than I should. This place was probably as crazy as Wonderland, as everyone here usually had opposite personality syndrome. There was still a school and everything - with similar people from my world to go along. However, they were a lot different from the people I knew.
All I knew about this world was that Snow wasn't popular, and joined the degenerates of the school with all the other more or less pretty girls she would always hang around. Their appearances weren't the same either yet they still had distinct features. I wouldn't dare get too close, but one thing I knew for sure was that Bigby wasn't in the picture.
"It's awful," I muttered under my breath, shivering at the snowflakes that drifted to the ground slowly. Every time I came here, it would be snowing. I had no idea why.
I knew the whereabouts of my witch, and the journey would take a few days on foot. Time, just like in Wonderland, wouldn't be the same as it was back home and moved differently here. It shouldn't have been too long in their world, so that hopefully meant Bigby shouldn't have been worrying about me.
I had to get him out my thoughts and focus. Using too much brainpower now would dissolve the buzz all that caffeine was giving me.
I threw on my scarf and began my journey into the woods. The sad thing was that the mirror world restricted my power, meaning I couldn't teleport to my destination and I instead had to walk there. Though, I was glad that the man in the mirror kept close to where I needed to go. I would usually visit this place for a short amount of time knowing Georgie could easily trap me if he found out where I was gone.
Also the fact that meeting the asshole in the mirror on this side would be awkward. I'm lucky he's caught between the two worlds, just as I had once been.
