(Update! The op was fine and I'm recovering! Which gave me the opportunity to write this chapter at last! Since you guys have been patient, I've wrote a special chapter. Contains Snigby!!! <3)
|Snow|
Time seemed to stop completely as everyone was frozen to the spot. The situation wasn't good, as these hunters were pointing rather large shotguns at the three of us. We were teenagers!
"It looks like you're trespassing on private property kids, get a little lost on the way home?" One of them asked. He then looked at Bigby to see how badly he was hurt, noticing the trail of blood coming from the window. This made me break out in a nervous sweat.
"You wouldn't happen to be the wolf now, would you? I never believed in werewolves at first, but now-"
"Hi, we're just passing through. Now if you could let us leave then maybe you can keep your life," Mary smiled maliciously and took a step towards them.
"Who do you think you are? Coming in here, making a mess, and trying to take away the best prize we've ever found," one of them protested. Bigby growled, making them jump.
"You don't know who you're dealing with. Let me introduce you to my friends. That's Snow and the one you refer to as your 'prize' is Bigby. My name is Mary, but you Mundies prefer to call me Bloody Mary," her eyes glowed red, earning a cold glare from the leader whilst the rest exchanged worrying looks.
"You think this is some practical joke? Bloody Mary isn't real."
"Oh yeah? Try me," she took out her knife. This couldn't possibly end well, especially when Mary's involved. She's definitely someone you don't want to mess with.
"Now here's how we'll do things. I'm gonna kill each and every one of you, slowly. While Snow and Bigby leave this place, unharmed," she grinned, licking the knife and spitting out blood. Gross.
"That's not the way we deal with things Mary, we do this my way. By handing yourselves over, before any real damage is done," the leader cocked his gun and pointed it at me. I bit my lip, practically begging to keep my life. I was strong, but not as strong as Bigby. I couldn't possibly survive a bullet to the head.
"Oh, going to do it the fun way then? I always like a challenge," before I could blink, she had disappeared. A mirror stood in the corner of the room, and I already knew what she was going to do. Bigby knew this too, and tried to hold onto to my dress tighter to stand in front of me, but failed and I was forced to hold him. He started swearing under his breath and apologised several times, but I was barely listening because of Mary.
She stepped out of it moments later in her true form, making them gasp in fear. I dragged Bigby through the window and into the forest as soon as they were distracted.
Someone came behind me and covered my mouth, pulling me away from Bigby as he tried to balance himself on a tree, unaware at what was happening. I bit the guy's hand as hard as I could and tried to run, as another man had his gun pointing at Bigby as he collapsed to the floor. I ran in front of it.
"I won't let you kill him. I'm Snow goddamn White! I will always fight, and I never lose," before he could react, I uppercutted him as hard as possible, breaking some of his teeth. The other guy tried to grab me again but I managed to kick him in the nuts.
When he fell to the ground, I started kicking him hard in the stomach. I grabbed Bigby and desperately searched for the portal, which was in a small clearing through the trees. I dragged him quickly and ran through it with pure desperation.
*
We came through the other side, safe and sound. It had disappeared immediately as I realised we were at the cliff. The portal to the Mundy world always stayed in the same place and was well hidden so no Mundy could ever see or find it. But you never know where you'll end up when you step back through. Useful on some occasions but annoying on others.
