This was possibly one of the best moments of my life, as I was spending Christmas with Bigby Wolf in a hospital. Never thought that would ever happen.

If you had asked me a few months ago whether me and Bigby would spend the holidays together, you would've heard an instant "No," from me. And here I was, standing with the love of my life, watching the glittering snow flakes slowly fall to the floor.

It was crazy how quickly things had changed over the last couple of months, and they seemed to go by in a flash.

We were so close to kissing until the woman who always ruined everything showed up, causing us to split up immediately and try to look innocent, with Bigby scratching his head and me staring at the floor, trying to avoid eye contact. But Mary knew all too well what we were doing, as nothing ever seemed to go past her.

"Did I interrupt you guys again? Jeez, you should get a room," she joked, making me roll my eyes.

"And you should learn to stop interrupting things Mary. It seems to be a regular thing for you, ruining everything," I scowled, making her smile disappear and her eyes fill with guilt.

"Whoa...shots fired," Bigby whispered to himself, giving us both worrying looks.

"Anyway...the reason I came up here was to give you your Christmas presents. That's if you still want them...?" She tucked her firm, white shirt into her jeans and revealed a bag, carrying what I assumed were presents.

"You got me something? Wouldn't expect that," Bigby read my mind, walking over to her with a smile. I stayed glued to the spot. I rubbed my neck and continued to stare at the floor, barely wanting to make conversation. Talk about awkwardness.

"One thing you should know about me is that you should always expect the unexpected. And, yeah...thought I owed you after everything that's happened, so here," she handed over some cigarettes and a neatly-wrapped present. The paper had little, white wolves. Of course Mary, how unpredictable.

I was a bit curious now, yet I still refused to move. Instead, I eavesdropped on their conversation.

"You know me so well," he opened it carefully, trying not to rip the precious paper. Inside, was the whole box set of Twilight, and I knew for a fact that it was expensive. He looked confused at first until Mary explained it all. It was kinda like a joke present. An expensive, and sort of funny joke present.

"The first time I watched this, it made me think of you. I know it looks like your average, everyday teen movie but it's actually not that bad. And this is me saying it Bigby. It's right up your street, with vampires and werewolves, so you'd totally enjoy it. And plus, you're the only person in high school that hasn't seen it yet," Bigby raised an eyebrow as if to ask 'are you serious?' But he knew she wasn't lying, so he thanked her gratefully.

To my surprise, he walked over to his hospital bed and took out a bag similar to hers, carrying Christmas presents. Is he crazy? He really got her something? Nothing could beat his gift to me which was the little, golden wolf bracelet which I wore everyday. I smiled to myself, thinking about our date night. There was certainly going to be more of those in the future.

"Believe it or not, I got you something too," he handed her a tiny, square-shaped present wrapped in penguin paper, making me smirk slightly. Mary noticed this too and grinned at how well it was wrapped.
