I woke up the next day with a buzz from my phone. With my eyes still closed, I fumbled around my bedside table looking for it, knocking some stuff off. I eventually found it and hesitantly opened my eyes to see a text from Bigby:

I completely forgot to ask last night but will you go to the Winter Ball with me? :) xx

I couldn't stop smiling at his text. I said:

Of course! There's no one I'd rather go with than you ;) xx

I dropped the phone and almost fell off the bed trying to pick it up from the floor. Then I realised I was still in my clothes from the date. I must of forgot to change last night because I was tired. Oops.

I sighed and went downstairs, looking as if I had been dragged through a hedge backwards. My makeup was probably smudged and my hair was everywhere, but I didn't care.

"How was the date last night?" Mum had her back facing me. I sat at the table and tried to fix my hair a little. When she turned round to give me eggs, her smile disappeared.

"It was great mum!" I tried not to sound tired, putting on a convincing smile. But my eyes were itchy due to mascara so I had to rub them quickly, smudging it more.

"What the heck did you do last night?" She questioned with suspicion, putting her hands on her waist.

"I forgot to take my makeup off as well as change. But we went to a restaurant and it was just amazing," I explained with a faint smile, remembering the night before and all the events that happened afterward. Rose sat next to me, texting as per usual and when she looked up from her phone and saw me, she burst out laughing at the state I was in. Then Mum even joined in.

"You look like a panda! Your mascara is everywhere Snow!" Rose laughed. I ran through to the living room and examined myself in the mirror. I really did look like a panda, as the mascara had somehow gone all over my eyes, making them look like dark rings. Great. After about half an hour, I had scraped all the makeup off and gotten changed. School time!

The day went by like a blur. We were all buzzing for the ball tonight so I didn't really pay much attention in classes due to excitement. Lunchtime came extremely quickly too, and the chat about tonight never seemed to stop.

"I'm so excited, seriously guys. I just wish it would come quicker!" Beauty exclaimed impatiently.

"Calm down! The Winter Ball is only six hours away!" Nerissa said.

"That's so long! This is like, the longest day ever!" Briar huffed.

"How was the date last night Snow?" Rapunzel asked. She wasn't too bothered about the ball since it wasn't her sort of thing. She had obviously grown tired of the never ending conversation and wanted to move onto my love life.

"It was absolutely extravagant! We had a great time," I told the girls about our night (excluding the location of the restaurant and the ambush from Faith and her friends) and they all just sat there and listened with envy but happiness on their faces.

"I wish our men could do something like that for us, but that just shows that you are truly in love," Cindy made a heart with our fingers, making us giggle.

"See you at the ball guys. I have a feeling this is gonna be a good night..." I trailed off, eating my lunch and listening to my friends complain about how Briar can never get caught sleeping in class. Hopefully I didn't jinx it...
