(Update! I love the irony in this scene ^^^^, it made me laugh too much XD. Trying to get back to a normal schedule but I am on holiday, so the lack of Internet hurts lol. Please read the A/N at the end guys, it means a lot❤️As always, enjoy!)
Pretty much narration here guys, so yeah 😂
The holidays came and gone in a flash. Presents were exchanged, families reunited and overall, Christmas was a blast for our three main protagonists. Or so you would think.
*
Bigby's Christmas was spent with his father, and surprisingly, his brothers too. As much as they were monsters, the North Wind refused to have Christmas without them. He claimed that without family, Christmas wasn't special. Bigby obviously wasn't happy with his siblings staying since they constantly made his life hell by teasing and playing pranks on him.
He was the runt after all.
He spent his whole Christmas sulking, smoking and glaring at all of his family with pure hate. Living with his dad was bad enough, never mind having to deal with all his siblings at once. And the worst thing was that everyone had heard about his relationship with Snow White, which was the talk of the table and pretty much the whole holidays. His father reminded him to invite Snow over since he was eager to meet her, to which Bigby rejected instantly.
His family was messed up enough, and that was not a subject that was brought up often on Snow and Bigby's many conversations. Whenever family was mentioned, Bigby would easily shrug off the question and change the subject quickly. He wasn't ashamed of them, he was just angry. Angry at his father for leaving his mother, and angry at his brothers for doing the same. Plus, they've been treating him like crap for years, and never protected their mother even when she was left for dead.
Let's just say that the only good part of his Christmas was when his siblings finally left, and the occasional phone call with Snow. He couldn't wait to see her, and desperately hoped that her Christmas was a lot better than his.

Mary didn't have family to spend Christmas with. The only people she lived with was the crazy bunch, and she was in no mood to ever spend any time with them after what they done. She refused to talk, eat or even look at Georgie and the others. Instead, she made a visit to Bigby's in secret and they spent some time together.
She also visited Snow, who was very unhappy with her sudden appearance. To make matters worse, her mother had even offered that Mary should stay for dinner. Even though she objected and tried to convince her mother that Mary was clearly unwelcome in their home, she scolded Snow for being rude and forced her to socialise with Mary.
Despite all the bad things she had said about her, her Mum's opinion on Mary stayed the same. She was pleasant and polite, clearly unaware of what she really was and what she did for her job. What was worse that Rose had even taken a liking to her, even after bad-mouthing her after what Snow had been through. Rose thought that Mary was just misunderstood, and tried to make up for her behaviour by showing her around the house for an official tour.
Little did she know that Mary had visited their home on countless occasions, and therefore had seen the place top to bottom. Yet, she never showed it when having the tour. She just gazed in utter curiosity, muttering "oos" and "ahs" at all the special artefacts that Snow's mother had collected throughout the years. You could say she was a very good actress, and even after leaving, both Rose and her mother were feeling very happy with the way she had acted and taken such an interest in their collection of furniture.
To this, Snow angrily turned her back on them and stormed up to her room in a huff, as managing to convince her family that she was good had made Snow even more angry with Mary than she already was.
