"Madam your aunt is here and she is demanding to see you"I lift up my head and look at Sinawo my receptionist.
"My aunt?"she nods.
"Just tell the guards to escort her out,I am very busy to be entertaining nonsense"
"But madam she..."I hold up my hand to stop her from Continuing and gave her a death stare before focusing back on my laptop, she sighs and walks out in defeat.
"I AM NOT LEAVING HERE WITHOUT SEEING HER OKEY!!!!!"I hear a familiar voice shouting,I take a deep breath, close my laptop and stand up to check what's going on,it doesn't take long before she throws herself inside my office.
"Madam I am sorry I called the guards and they are on their way to escort her now"
"Its fine Sinawo you may leave I will take care of this"Sinawo nods and walks out leaving me and Aunt Nombi, like I thought she is drunk and looks like she hasn't bathed for days.
"Milonke is this how you treat the person who made sure that you are the woman you are today huh?"I look at her and chuckle shaking my head.
Nombi took me in when my mother died and since my father was a no show I had literally no one that could take me in cause like many families in South Africa my moms family is full of conflicts and unresolved issues so Nombi took me in so that she can get the foster care money and also because she needed someone to clean her house and take care of her 8 years old daughter. I had to become a mother at the age of 12 but to me it wasn't a problem cause I was happy that at least someone was willing to look after me and give me shelter so I felt like its what I had to do in return of what she did for me.
"What do you want Nombi?....money"she walks over to sit on my black leather office chair and gets comfortable spinning the chair around.
"I want a share of this company Milonke,I want to live in a mansion and drink expensive wine and brandy just like you"
"Unxilile(you must be really drunk) what do you know about running a company"I shoot out compressing my eyebrows .
"You are right I am drunk but I'm not stupid, you owe me Milonke,I fed you,I clothed you,I gave you shelter so what I am asking from you now is nothing compared to what I did for you"
"Eyyy!! Nombi you are the last person to tell me that nonsense, you were never there for me and you know it so don't come here and pretend like you took care of me while you spent everyday in different night clubs"
"If it wasn't for me Milonke you would be a homeless hobo begging for money in the streets, after your moms death no one wanted to take you in and because I have a beautiful heart I took you in and took care of you and now this is how you repay me"I take a deep breath and look at her.
"Aunt Nombi please leave"
"I am not going anywhere until I get what I Want"I walk over to her and push her out of the chair she is sitting on.
"So you are chasing me out like a dog Milonke after everything"
"Nombi leave just leave please leave"
"OKAY FINE !!... I will leave just give me some money"
I walk over to my desk and take out my wallet,I pull out two 200 rand notes and give it to her.
"What am I supposed to do with this?"I roll my eyes and take out another 200 rand note.
"I will be back to get what's mine and please tell Zizipho I said hi"she walks out leaving my office smelling like a whole distillery that produces cheap alcohol.
I spray an air freshener all over my office and sanitize my chair and desk. I just honestly wish that she would have left me alone where she found me because now she will remind me about what she did for me until I take my last breath, don't get me wrong I am very grateful for everything she has done for me but to be honest the only thing she did was to take me in and she only did that only because she wanted me to take care of her daughter Zizipho while she parties everyday. I had to do everything on my own,I was the one who had to make sure that her daughter went to school and to think that she never ever bought me clothes because I remember I used to go to school with my normal clothes because she didn't buy me any school clothes, my teacher Miss Ndimo was the one who bought me my full school uniform and stationary.
