Glass Wall
By: Kharis Go
A poem inspired by The Ice Queen's TragedyI dont know why I'm still here
everything I see is not clear
this fog of misery is blinding me
don't save me, you can't save meYou can't cave it in,
this glass wall is trapping me
with nothing but this pain withinI have nowhere to go
nowhere to run
I'm a Queen of my fellow dead souls
filled with ice and nothing more
My castle is surrounded with glass wall
wouldn't it be better if I die, but no
my reflection is telling me
'You're not alone'Is this real, or am I in a fantasy
Can't breathe, but I'm still alive
I'm suffocating, how come I still survive
can't hear me, you can't hear meRed is everywhere, but he gave me the sky
Everything I know is a lie
magic potions wont make it go away
the scars of my past will forever stayHope is all I need
and you gave me more than thisMy castle is surrounded with glass wall
wouldn't it be better if I die, but no
my reflection is telling me
'You're not alone'-
