CHAPTER 11

“Ambrosia”

ANNA’S POV

Lunch break

IT’S been months since I’ve been struggling to study in a school far from what I had used to; tiring months of living in an exclusive apartment all by myself, striving to understand their native language, trying to get used to their unique culture.

Not that I whine or rant it endlessly, I just never had imagined I could survive longer than I thought.

Not to mention the constant bugging of my brothers, persuading me to go online on Skype all the time. Well, they don’t have to persuade me since I’m always online.

Oh, how could I forget the most important reason of my almost impossible survival with this school?

Those bastards of fan-girls.

Kudos, your guesses are all right.

And… of all the things that could ever happen to me, Rumia – remember the Blondie girl with unusual size of breast and with horse-like tail of hair?

Hey, you have good memory there.

She’d never tried to talk to me right after Nathaniel threatened her with the video. And if you think that she has surrendered and raised her white flag with that, nuh-uh.

Instead, she insisted on spreading the rumors all around the campus. No, don’t ask me what rumour she has been spreading with all these months.

I am very certain she was all behind those nasty rumours. Why, you ask?

Because one, she threatened me the day after smacking the President issue.

Two, she saw me talking with Gabriel the other day. And despite the chant of my heart to disagree, I offered my sincere apology. He was the one who came after me, after all.

But right after that, he asked me if I could be his date for eternity. Ignoring the absurd offer, I walked out without any words.

Last but not the least - three, Rumia was the only person who can afford to spread the nasty rumours.

Want me to give an example?

"I never thought she was actually that kind of girl." A certain girl whispered.

"Consider me too, Sandy. I mean, she's already a mom of three kids at the age of 16." A girl whispered back.

"Oh my, and I actually heard from someone that those kids had different fathers to start with. I couldn't believe it."

Told you it was nasty… and insane.

Since it was just ridiculous, I just brushed it off. Yet the glares and judging stares of other students were like bug on my veins. Itchy.

Too much similar glares with Seido High, mind you. But… well, let’s just get used to it.
