IT WAS HARD FOR HIM TO FORGET THE PERSON WHO GAVE HIM A MILLIONS OF MEMORIES WHEN SHE BACAME A MEMORY. DEATH LEFT A HEARTACHE WITH HIM NO ONE COULD EVER HEAL. LOVE GAVE HIM MEMORIES THAT NO ONE COULD EVER STEAL. MAYBE SOMEDAY THEY COULD OVERWRITE EACH OTHER AND HE COULD MOVE ON. MAYBE THERE WAS A HOPE FOR HIM TO MOVE ON. JUST A HOPE.

The mountains were a silent place and home for him. A perfect hiding spot from the world. The world that took away his most precious thing in life. The mountains in Kalos provided him with everything he wanted. Food, shelter, firewood, all the things he needed for survival. The sun was begining to rise as he turned toward a small wooden house a little away from where he was standing.

It wasn't all that lavish wooden house but a simple house that protected him from rain and harsh sunlight. Not that needed it. He stopped feeling emotions years ago. It was meant for her. The only thing she left behind that mattered to him and he sworn to protect at any cost. Even if it meant going against the whole world.

"That should be enough." He said as he picked another log and placed it on his shoulder and slowly walked toward the small hut he built. He slowly placed the log on the ground trying not to make any loud sound to wake up the person inside.

"Daddy. You promised you would wake me up and show me the sunrise." The door opened as a little girl walked out rubbing her eyes trying to adjust to the light morning sun trying to locate his father.

"You look so cute while sleeping Hina. I didn't had heart to wake you up." He said as he walked toward the little girl and leaned to her level. She looked just like her mother. Her eyes that spoke a thousand words, her hair that was a exact replica of her mother, her smile that made Ash's heart beat, and her behaviour, she was just like her mother.

And the only reason Ash never gave up on living. Ash's bundle of Joy and motivation.

"The sun just rose Hina. If you want I can show you." He said as he rubbed his hands over her face. It reminded him of her a lot. The girl's tiny hand grabbed Ash's finger as she giggled.

"Really. I love you daddy. Lets go." She said and tried to run in the direction of the sun but was grabbed by Ash who picked her up and walked toward the hut while she tried to get out of his grasp.

"First clean yourself princess. You don't want the sun to laugh at you right." He said and placed the girl on the ground and splashed her face with water and dried it with his sleeves.

"Cold." She stuttered while her teeth clattering with each other as Ash smiled and led her in the hut as she ran in front of the fire.

Ash walked toward the bed and pulled out a red jacket from under the bed and walked toward the girl heating her tiny cold hands in front of fire. He stood next to her and slipped her tiny arms in the jacket as he zipped the little girl up. He grabbed a cap and placed it on her head and picked her up.

"Warm?" He asked the girl who lightly nodded his head from his embrace but shivered a little. He grabbed a little blanket and covered the girl and walked out of the hut where the sun begun to shine a little more strongly.

"Daddy?" The little girl said while pulling a little away from his chest to see him into his eyes.

"Yeah."

"Can we go to the top of the mountain?" She asked looking into his eyes. Hina was never the selfish kind of kid, ever. And Ash knew it. She rarely asked for anything, she was aware of how they were living. She was aware of most of things yet she never showed it. She was too smart for a 4 and a half year old, just like her mother.

"Sure, let me call my friend." Ash said as he looked at his daughter who smiled. He smiled back.

"You wanna call him." He asked as the girl nodded her head enthusiastically. Ash placed his fingers in the little girl's mouth as she blew air in it creating a strong whistle which travelled the whole forest they were staying at.
