Ilene sighed as she looked at the budget in her hand. Not too bad but neither too good. The festival was supposed to be main source of revenue this year. Now all the resources will go in waste.

Her eyes went out of her office toward the garden where she saw hina, Diantha and Clair. They were pretty lucky to have Ash who was willing to go to any extent for them and he was lucky to have them too.

Wait a second. The wedding.

"Found it." she snapped her fingers. Most of Rota's revenue came from import and export and the festival. There wasn't a massive loss for them but the people seemed sad. They could just start the revenue cycle in the kingdom and end it in the kingdom.

"Continue the festival preparation."

In other words they will gain the revenue from their own people. Most of their people were busy with festival and rarely had fun time. With a grand wedding on door, it won't hurt to have a little fun.

"But queen Ilene.." The assistant started.

"It would be a shame if all the preparation goes into waste right. Rota shall see its first grand wedding where everyone shall be invited." She said. Would Ash approve of it? Who cared. She was the queen here. She gave orders and not take them.

"As you wish my queen." The guard bowed as Mime jr mimicked her. Now the real festival shall take place. Every fund will return two fold from its own people alongside their joy.

She looked out and saw those three. She was damn surprised when she found about that. Polygamy wasn't something she didn't knew about. A lot of her family member in ancient past practised it too but in this era. It seemed different. But who cared. Ash was helping them, what else did they wanted.

"I didn't even got the ring." Ash whimpered as Charizard punched his head while Ash applied antiseptics on its wounds. Charizard snorted as motioned him to look back when he saw Diantha walking to where they were.

"Seems like a death match to me." She stood crossing her arms as she glared at Ash.

"I didn't expected to run into Leon and Raihan at same time. Those two are awesome at double battles two. If it wasn't for Charizard then i would have been roasted alive." Ash grunted as Diantha sighed and sat next to him grabbing the bottle of antiseptic and applying it to the tail of the dragon.

"So why were you in Galar?" She asked him.

"I went to get this." He pulled out a dynamaxing band from his sleeves as he grinned in victory with Charizard. They both got what they wanted. Maybe not the ring but they mostly got whatever they wanted. He placed it in her hand as she looked at it.

A dynamaxing band. One of the specialities of Galar region.

"It will help us buy time against Groudon." Ash answered the question in her mind as she nodded her head lightly. With every passing day they were getting closer and closer to what they wanted to achieve. Meanwhile Lance, he engaged in finding clues about Ash's innocence in past.

A faint rustling from the bushes caught their attention as a lot of pidgey flew from the bush into the endless sky. Ash's eyes followed them as he remembered something. A promise.

"Something wrong?" Diantha asked on seeing the distant look on Ash's face.

"Sometime you are too good at reading me you know." Ash chuckled to himself as Charizard looked at the tiny bird pokemons and understood what Ash was thinking of.

"Not every promise can be kept. I just remembered about Pidgeot." Ash said remembering the past. How much he wished, how much he wanted. Growing up he realised a lot. Not everything you wish for come true.
