🌹MASSACRE OF ROTA🌹

Ash carefully listened to everything Queen Ilene was saying to him as he just sat there silently with an occasional hum or a yes answering the queen while she told him about aura. There are always more to secrets.

Ash always wondered why there were only two places where aura was found, one being lucario kingdom which was completely destroyed by team rocket and other being Rota which he was protecting. Hina's description of the man who attacked them was similar to maverick and ilene decided to spill it all.

Every doubt she was having.

Every fear she had for the kingdom.

Every outcome she believe it will lead to.

"It was all the cause of battle of Jigoku." She said as she placed her hands over her forehead sighing loudly.

"Jigoku? Wasn't that a massacre?" Ash recalled hearing about the particular battle from Cynthia who gave him and Hina a history lecture on the topic a few weeks ago. Unlike him, Hina did understood it all while he dumbly nodded his head to anything the blondie said.

The only thing that Ash recalled from the lecture his wife gave him was that thousands of people were killed in the battle and it was forgotten. No one wanted to remember about it. It was as if the massacre never existed in history. Maybe 600 years ago. It is a long time. Sometime during time of the 5 and 6 guardian.

"It was supposed to be a battle. Sometime when the sixth guardian climbed the tree of life to gain complete access over his aura." She said as she flipped some pages of an old diary. Ash read through the pages in her hand which were beautifully written in a cursive writing with a signature at end of each page.

"Shouldn't we ask cynthia about it? She must know a thing or two." Ash asked as Ilene shook her head in denial. A strange silence engulfed the whole room as Ilene forwarded the diary to Ash who looked at it. Rather than reading what was on the page, Ash was mostly captivated by the handwriting.

Every stroke was beautifully drawn with a clean page. Even looking so old, the diary still looked perfect. His hand ran over the words on its own as Ilene broke the silence.

"I already talked to lady shirona but she didn't knew much. By the way do you know about fundamental properties Ash?" She asked as Ash rose his head to meet the woman.

"Something like mass and stuff?" He asked. Sabrina did taught him the basics to everything. Ash was an idiot. An absolute idiot when Sabrina decided to teach him those stuff. Although he did learnt then in the end, most of their study session turned into something else whenever they studied.

And study wasn't his front in the end.

"Mass, volume, time, gravity. There are many more." Ash remembered it. Sabrina did taught him all about them. Controlling aura isn't all about physical power. It require basic knowledge of evrything, the hidden arts are no joke. One wrong step and it will end up killing the user. Sabrina was too delicate with Ash on that matter. And she would have been proud of how far he came.

"What does it have to do with the massacre?" Ash asked.

"Life force might be too or is. Aura never end, it changes its form from one to another. Example humans take their energy or life force from plants, the plants give it to pokemon, the pokemon give it to human and when humans die, it goes to the ground and return to where it came from." She said as Ash raised his eyes in confusion. This looked like a university lecture to him not a talk about what they were going to do but it was necessary.

It was necessary to know the roots of where it begun.

"And?"

"There are no official records but queen rin wrote in her diary that the actual number of people killed were 200,000 in the massacre of Jigoku." She said as Ash's eyes widened. This number was too huge. Was Rota even this big? Maybe it was.
