"Cyn I think she is asleep." Ash said carefully not wanting to disturb the little girl in his embrace as he straightened his body.
His eyes locked on his little bundle of joy whose eyes opened lightly and she stared at Ash with a mischevious smile. Why do kids have to ruin their sleep like this.
"You cheeky girl. Just like mama you always manipulate me." Ash mumbled tickling the girl lightly as she giggled. A sight which made Ash feel the most happiest guy in the world.
"Mama." She said in a broken voice as Ash's eyes widened.
"CYNTHIA." He yelled from where he was as he heard the sound of dishes being dropped in kitchen as Cynthia emerged in front of him at speed of light.
"I thought you dropped her." She sighed in relief as she looked at Ash with their daughter who was giggling toward Ash.
"She said Mama." Ash said as Cynthia rubbed her wet hands on her apron picking up the little girl from his embrace.
"See, Emily say papa." Ash pinched the girls cheek who grabbed his finger with her tiny hands.
"Mama." She giggled as Cynthia hugged the girl.
"Papa emily PA PA." Ash said as the girl held his fingers and played with them.
"Mama." She said as if trying to taunt Ash who dropped on the ground with a depressing aura surrounding him as je circled his fingers on floor.
"Even emily is on mama side. Papa is alone." He muttered as Cynthia lightly embraced him while giggling.
"Your time will come soon too Ash." She said raising the girl high in the air. "Say mama." She smiled toward the girl who was giggling on being lifted in air.
"Papa." She muttered as Ash turned to face the girl. The first time a child says something is a feeling no one could describe. A feeling of happiness with a tint of sadness that she was growing up.
"Ash. There is no need to cry." Cynthia raised one of her hand and wiped Ash's cheek as he held her hand. He embraced two of them. It always felt like a dream. Him marrying cynthia, having emily. Every morning he woke up believing it to be a sick dream but this was reality and he was happy of it.
"Shit." The girl giggled.
"Ashura satoshi ketchum." Cynthia muttered from their embrace. Ash felt the temperature drop by a lot as if it was ice age once again.
