The low sound of footstep echoed in the thin alleys of the kanto region where two girls walked trying to remain as silent as possible. The night in kanto wasn't the safest. In fact the whole world was in complete chaos. Criminals who were supposed to hide were roaming freely and common people were hiding within the four walls of their house to stay safe. That too wasn't a guarantee. No one knew when a thug would knock at your door with a knife and have his ways with you.

Kanto was worst victim of this ordeal. The transfer of power to Damian and kingmaker Giovanni destroyed the whole region completely. No one was safe. No one knew when someone would be killed, kidnapped, or worst things.

"Any idea why we are meeting?" A slow whisper said as the girls entered a warehouse and entered a door with a projector and large table with a cup of tea in it.

"Evening Cynthia, Diantha. Please have a seat. We are waiting for Mr Goodshow to come and brief us about why we are here.

"I guess it is about the bombing of Indigo plateau." Cynthia said as she sat on her seat.

"200 people died. We don't even know the reason why they did it." Diantha said as everyone clenched their fist.

"We are not the incharge of the region even being the champion. The legue and government is fucking up the world." Steven mumbled as the door opened once again with the owner of battle frontier entering the room. Everyone instinctively stood up to greet the man who motioned them to sit down.

"President Goodshow mightn't come to todays meeting." Scott said as everyone raised their eyebrows in confusion. He was the one to call the meeting at first place and what was the motto if the leader wasn't here.

"What happened?" Lance asked sipping his cup of tea.

He was the incharge of Johto region gyms. The damn gyms, he had to make sure their stadium was good, the floor was polished, the camera recorded everything. Even if he was a champion. A champion with no powers.

"There is a possibility that his granddaughter is killed by team Rocket. They found a body in a container which resembles the girl." Scott said as lance slammed the cup at the table shaking everything on it.

"She was fucking 10 years old. What the fuck did they gained from killing her."

Lance rage was right. Team rocket preferred mental torture over anything else.

Scott was never the leader kind of man. He was a man who had all the money of the world and longed for more. He was just a sponser to the legue and battle frontier. Dealing with champions wasn't something he specialized in. They knew how to handel a whole region better than he ever could yet they were handcuffed.

"We don't know anything that is going on bit there is a little hope. Just a hope." Scott said as Goodshow entered the room with a face that had became normal for everyone in the world. Everything went downhill after that day. Everything went according to their plan.

"Mr Goodshow." Scott said as the old man sat down silently on his chair. Over years he had grown weak. Mentally, physically, emotionally, in every human way possible.

"Did you get it?" He asked as Scott pulled out a laptop from his bag and plugged it to the makeshift projector. The screen begun projecting on the white wall. Scott clicked over a file which required a password for access. He typed some buttons and a file opened.A video file and a few pictures.

"You know about the team of Rocket grunts that was killed in the middle of the kalos region?" Scott asked the ex champions.

Few weeks back a convoy of rocket grunts was passing through the forest of kalos region while searching for the legendary Yveltal when each and everyone of the 23 grunts disappeared into thi air. No one knew where they went. Even the jeeps they used were never found. Like it never existed at first place. The search team sent to find them didn't found anything except for dried blood stains as if a genocide took place. Blood all over the tree, the dirt road, the ground, each and every place. About the jeeps their tracker were found tied to a tree miles away from the blood stains. No one knew what happened there.
