Utopia. A concept of a world to ideal to exist. It was impossible. As kids a lot of people loathed villains but growing up one realise they are not always a hero. One is a hero of their own story and villain of another's story.
It was impossible for an ideal world to exist. Perfection never exist. Madara was right. Nothing goes planned in this accursed world. As long as there is light, shadows are sure to be found. In selfish desire to preserve love wars are initiated.
And that was what happened here. Ash never wanted to lose Hina. She was her everything. To protect her, he didn't cared who he was against. Giovanni, Archie, Maxie, team rocket, team magma, the whole fucking world. It didn't mattered. Hina was ways his number one priority. And Richard knew that.
He knocked the door lightly waiting for permission to enter as he sighed loudly. He understood everything he did till now was wrong. Might be good for some people but in the end something's hit close to home. His relation with Ash and Delia did hit close to home.
"Come in." The voice answered as he entered the room looking at Delia who looked out of the window toward the preperation of the grand wedding. The celebration was full blown. It was just like a festival.
And the letter from legue and kanto government declaring Rota an independant state and removing all the taxes was like a cherry on the top. Now Rota will be able to grow normally like other cities and regions.
The 45% revenue which went to taxes and security funds from kanto was a huge problem. And the words from Queen Ilene that it was thr wedding of the same person who helped in this treaty drove people mad with happiness. They wish to knew who the person was.
Alas, it didn't mattered for now. It was the wedding of their saviour. And the would celebrate it in the grandest way possible. Royally.
"There is something i wish to talk about." He stood on the door as she turned to face him. Dark circles under her eyes made her look like she wasn't asleep for years. Maybe she didn't too. Those nightmares haunted her. Ash's face begging for her help was something embedded in her mind for years. Richard looked at her light nodding.
"Ash is in the castle and is getting married." He confessed. The rumours from guards did gave him a basic glimpse of what was happening inside. And rumours and talks between guards did gave him idea that there was a very special guest of queen Ilene staying in castle.
And the treaty. Only one person could make it possible. Someone who worked from shadows. Away from people. It was Ash. The speech of queen last night confirmed it.
"Huh."
"That smart brat did said we could meet him in two weeks but Ash isn't stupid. He never was and never will be. Especially in anything related to Hina. He will end everything within these two weeks." He said as Delia shot off the bed. Not again. She will lose this chance once again. No...
The next two weeks were crucial. For Ash, for Giovanni, for troy, for the three of them. For Ash's old friend. Ash would end it all within these two weeks. From all the encounters they had he knew one thing for sure. Ash loath his past, with a passion.
And he would go to any extent to stay away from it.
"What do we do? I don't want to lose him. Again." She cried out beating against his chest as tears spilt from her eyes and crashed on the wooden floor. The pearly tears glistened in the floor as Richard held her by her shoulders.
"We are going to meet him."
_________________________________________Dawn hugged her knees tightly crawling into corner of the bed as she remembered Ash's face that day. The day he looked at them with hope thinking they would say something that would save him but they didn't. They didn't framed him, they didn't asked him to give up.
