"A bar. For real Clair?" Ash asked turning to face the woman next to him as she rubbed her temples in confusion.

"Lance told me it was a hideout but i never expected it to be a bar." She answered as Ash sighed. Still better than nothing. He slowly opened the door and entered the bar as all eyes turned toward him and Clair.

New faces aren't that much welcomed here.

"Was lance here?" She asked as the bartender nodded his head and pointed toward a small hallway as Ash tiredly walked out of the main lobby toward the hallway as Clair grabbed a key from the man.

Both of them stood in front of the door as Ash raises his brows. Only one room?

"Only Lance stay here once in a while. The other room is occupied by owner." Clair answered. This woman was way too good at reading what he was thinking. She opened the door as they entered the room with a medium bed and a lot of alcohol supplies.

"So Lance stays in a store room.Cool." Ash muttered as he threw his bag on one corner and picked up a massive carton containing alcohol from the bed and placed it down.

"If you want to make a call to Hina the computer is there." Clair muttered as Ash turned around and saw a computer on the table near the window. Maybe he should give them a call and see what they are upto.

"I am going to get fresh." Clair muttered walking into the attached washroom leaving Ash alone as he pulled back the chair and sat on the chair and tapped a few buttons.

"DADDY."

The girl yelled from other side of the phone.

"Hina, you can't call anyone on the phone daddy." Cynthia chopped the little girl's head lightly standing in front of the phone as Ash looked at them.

"Hey Cynthia. Its me." Ash waved his hands as Cynthia looked at the screen.

"Oh its you Ash. You reached dragon village." She asked as Hina got off the seat and ran to somewhere leaving Ash to talk with Cynthia.

"Actually we ran into some kinda trouble you know." Ash rubbed his back sheepishly remembering the past encounters.

"You and Clair didn't got hurt. Did you?" She asked him as he shook his head in denial. He wasn't hurted that badly, scratched maybe. Nothing Cynthia should worry about.

"What about you guys? You reached Rota." Ash asked them.

"Not at all. We will reach there tomorrow. They are literally searching every car and its a pain." She answered as Ash nodded his head in understanding. The words about tree of life got out and a lot of people were rushing it.

"Oh and Cynthia, there is something i want to ask you." Ash said as Cynthia motioned for him to continue as he remembered a particular memory.

"In your book a history of space-time in sinnoh, you wrote something about the concept of mirror world right." Ash asked as Cynthia's eyes widened in surprise. Ash read her book. She never belived Ash to be the kind of guy who would like books.

"Yeah, there are a few incidence reported in past about it although i never met the victims on my own." She answered from other side of the computer as Ash nodded in understanding.

"Did something happened?" She asked him on seeing his sudden intrest on the topic.

"Yeah, it is just I had a similar experience back in Kalos too when i was thrown into a mirror world. What are the chances you could get memories from that version of yourself." Ash asked Cynthia with an anticipating voice.

"I think i wrote there are a few chances if you come in contact with that version of yours. There might be a slim chances but they are all hypothesis." She answered as a feeling of dread overcame Ash completely.
