3rd person pov:

Techno had woken up just seconds ago, but he was already on his feet. He was walking towards the kitchen, where Phil was preparing some food. Foolish was nowhere to be seen. He looked terrible. His eyes were blood red and terrible. It looked like he hadn't slept in ages. His lips were broken and cracked. And his throat was raspy. It wasn't the weirdest thing to think about; after all, he had screamed until his voice was raspy and almost disappeared before he passed out.

He walked over to the sink and cupboards, picking up a glass and filling it with water. He immediately poured it down his throat. "We need to do it. Now." He said to Phil, before continuing by filling his glass and pouring the water down his throat. "I talked with foolish while you were asleep. I think we have everything planned." Phil said with a small smile on his face, but you could see the growing anger in Technoblade's eyes. Or maybe it was more frustration than anger, but he was still unhappy.

"Why didn't you wake me up? I should have been there when you talked." He almost shouted, couching right after and pouring more water down his throat before Phil handed him a warm cup of tea, patting his back. "You were no help in that state. You must be so exhausted. I see how everything you do is draining all the energy from you. You needed that sleep, and you know it. Either you deny it or not." Technoblade just murmured a weak phrase. "Maybe" before sitting down at the table and drinking his tea. It felt good. It tasted good.

Phil laid a plate filled with mashed potatoes on the table. There wasn't much food, but Phil knew that Techno loved it. He had this weird obsession with potatoes, and his favourite dish was always mashed potatoes, even if it was as simple as that. Techno immediately attacked the dish, eating fork after fork with the potatoes until the plate was empty and his smile was back on his face. Or maybe he was as happy as he could be if you look at the conditions.

"I'm ready!" The Blood God said, laying his plate in the sink before walking over to the door, taking his robe before walking outside and into the cave Phil had talked about. While Techno was asleep, Foolish and Phil had completed some of the work. There was a circle on the floor with four weird symbols; two of them looked like eyes, and the other two looked like some sort of crystal. There were candles inside the circle, and Phil picked up the book that was lying in the middle of everything. Foolish stood in the back, covered by the shadows, and looked straight at Techno. He knew what he was doing.

The three boys looked at the place. Would they actually get Dream back? Would they be able to revive the admin of the server, a man who had already spent too much time in limbo, if he wasn't dead? There were no ghosts of him like in Ghostbur. There was no actual sign that he had been alive, but people remembered him. Some remember Dream as their friend and lover, as their brother, as their duckling, as their best friend. Some remember him as a monster, a tyrant, a torturer, a lunatic, a man who murdered people and tortured children. The man who should be dead,

So not everyone wanted him to be alive, and not everyone wanted Dream to come back. But that didn't care for Techno. Techno wanted Dream back, Techno needed Dream back. Techno would die if Dream didn't come back.

But someone didn't care if Dream was revived. Someone wanted revenge. Someone wanted to give Dream more than death. Someone wanted him to die. Die inside, alone and frustrated. Someone wanted to rip everything Dream loved away from him. Someone wanted to torture Dream until he didn't know any other reality than pain. Someone wanted him to break down and not be able to stand, to starve him, to cut off his feet. To let him bleed but save him right before he died, just to do it again.

Tubbo pov:

I knew Techno was up to something. I knew Phil would help Techno. I knew that Dream would come back. And maybe he tried to kill me, maybe he threatened to torture me, maybe he manipulated me. Maybe Tommy is still suffering from the exile that Dream gave him. But that didn't make Dream less of a human, and that didn't mean that Dream should go through the same amount of pain that others have.

I have seen Dream. Maybe not in person, maybe just in my dreams, maybe all I saw was an illustration, but part of me knew that it wasn't. I have seen how prison broke him, I have seen how he is now. I know he isn't dangerous. I know he isn't bad. I know they deserve to be loved. I know he deserves Techno. I know that Sapnap and Tommy are wrong. I know that, even though Dream has done terrible things, he deserves to live his life in happiness. I know that he deserves to be there.

I felt the whole ground shake. I curled into a ball in Ranboo's arms, letting my tears fall down. I know I'm weak. I know I shouldn't cry. But I don't care. I didn't care, so I just let Ranboo take care of me. He knows about my dreams, he knows about everything, and he doesn't hate me. He knows that I have seen Dream, he knows that I can't remember my dreams, he knows that I am in pain every time I fall asleep. So he kept me conscious. He helped me through every little thing. even if he didn't need to.

I could never have survived all this if Ranboo and Michal hadn't helped me. If they weren't here whenever I dreamed and hugged me when I woke up in tears, if they weren't there and cuddled with me under a blanket with tea in one hand and cakes on the table. If they weren't here when I panicked and tried to remember my dreams, If they weren't here, I would most likely have died.

And then I fell asleep once again.

Techno pov:

"Phil?" I called out for his name, and Foolish sat in the middle of the circle with crossed feet. He mumbled something weird, and Phil stood on the side with a book in his hand. I didn't know what to do. They just sat there and Phil had started reading something on an ancient language, I think I have heard it before, but I never bothered to learn it, a part of me regret it now.

Phil didn't answer me, he just stared down into the book. A part of me wanted to ask him what he did, but I didn't. I knew I couldn't do it. And after almost five minutes of that, Phil threw a note over to me. The only word on it was "crystals."I just nodded to Phil. I knew what to do, or I didn't know what I did. I just picked up the bowl with crystal powder and let it down on the circle before playing the other two on each side. Foolish made a weird sign in the crystal powder. Something resembling the letters C, D, A, and I.I didn't know what it meant. What the fuck was it?

I looked when a kind of Lavendel glowing barrier or hologram appeared, and the whole air was filled with purple glowing particles. Phil said something more, and I felt my body being pressed down to the earth. Like the gravity multiplied and at the same time my blood started being warmer and warmer. It felt like I was about to burn up from the inside.

I fell down on my knees. My head had started burning, my vision was spiraling, and black dots had started to appear in my sight. I saw Phil and Foolish standing and they looked completely okay. Didn't they notice what was happening? How could they act like everything was okay? It felt like my whole body was being pressed down and that my blood was at 100 degrees. How did that happen? No one told me that I was going to die. It clearly felt like I was going to die. But if I had to die to let Dream live, I would do it. I would sacrifice myself for him over and over again.

I was willing to die for him.

================================================

This was just a mess. I had no plan for this chapter, and I don't know what I think about the final result. But I hope it was readable.

I know that the chapter just sounds weird and all, but please just don't think too much about how they are trying to bring Dream back to life. The whole process is just so weird.
