Hi again, wow life's fun right?

Well, new chapter so that's something, and you are finally going to hear from George and Sapnap, wow, fun right?

What do you think will happen?

======================================================

2nd person pov (or smth, it's with George and I have no idea what to call it):

George noticed he moved slower than he was used to; dread was making his bones heavy, and the sun in the sky didn't seem as bright as it used to.

There was something about meeting his best friend—if he could still call him that—for not peaceful reasons anymore.

His best friend since forever, they had met so long ago, and never would George think he would have to stand in that position he is in now, split between his two friends.

forced to pick a side, and it should be easy, right? You go with the one suffering, the one lying on his deathbed, the one who isn't even able to talk because his mind has been so fucked up from all the psychological torture.

You go with that one, right?

But it doesn't feel right to just abandon your friend since forever—the boy that stood by your side when the other drifted away, the one that gave you a reason to cry when the other claimed he never cared about you.

The friend who you know would still help you if you just asked.

Betrayal never fell easily, and George hated himself for convincing Technoblade to let him talk instead, even though he knew it was better this way.

But even though he walked slowly, he ended up in Kinoko anyway. The night had started to settle, and George wished he could just go into his own house and sleep instead of talking. He was never a good diplomat.

He was good at sleeping, and that was it.

He wasn't a hundred percent Sapnap would be home, but it was far away from Techno's home, and there was a small chance that Sapnap preferred to stay in a home Techno didn't exactly know where it was than in the base he had built for Dream.

Although there was a chance he would have stayed in the safety room under Kinoko if the country even went to war, if you think about the history of the server, the chances for war to happen weren't exactly small.

So George did what he thought about in the first place and wandered over to Sapnap's mushroom house. He stopped outside the door and took a deep breath.

He had walked inside this exact house so many times before, so why was it hard now?

Why did it feel like he had the world on his shoulders when he moved, and why did it feel like every breath he took was some sort of gas?

Why didn't he open the door as easily as he had so many times before? Why did it feel like the world was ending?

But eventually, he pushed the door in and let his breath out, not even realizing he had held it before the door was open.

"Sapnap?" he called out, cautious at first but stronger the next time.

"Sapnap!"

No sounds; no answer; probably no one at home.

George turned around, deciding to check the bunker before searching more; he didn't want anyone to walk into his house uninvited and start shuffling the furniture around.

Part of him wanted to just take a nap at his own house and then walk back to the others, telling them he had talked to Sapnap and that things were going to be fine.
