You walked into the tent of the armory to a full on argument between Tech and Wrecker.
"We need more explosives!" Wrecker shouted.
"If you put any more explosives on the ship, there won't be room for us!" Tech challenged back. Echo and Hunter were lounging on a couple of crates laughing at the others.
"Nice to see some things don't change," you chuckled, coming to stand next to Hunter and leaning on him.
They all stood silently, looking you up and down. "What?" you asked.
"General, you changed clothes," Wrecker said loudly.
"Is that pure bescar?" Tech asked, clearly in awe.
You smiled, "yes, Bo-Katan gave it to me."
"It's beautiful," Hunter said, running his hand gently over the armor panels.
"Bescar panels take months to forge, especially one as intricate as that," Tech explained, "How did Bo-Katan have it made for you this quickly."
"It wasn't made for me," you answered, "she had it made for her sister, but gave it to me."
"Armor fit for a queen," Echo added, "that's a special gift."
"Yes," you said, "and it fits perfectly, like it was made for me too."
"You want to talk about gifts, how about you get Tech to put more explosives on the ship," Wrecker said again, walking away to grab more crates.
"I cannot make more room on the ship," Tech yelled following him.
You rolled your eyes and layed next to Hunter, placing your head in his lap. "It looks amazing on you," he whispered, running one hand along the armor and one hand in your hair.
You smiled up at him. "And I will feel better knowing you are better protected," he added.
"I do not fear Maul, or his followers," you replied.
"This is what worries me," Hunter answered, "I have never seen you want to kill anyone, let alone demand it."
You sat up, "what do you mean?"
Hunter turned to look at you seriously, "I mean you are starting to sound more like a soldier than a jedi."
"I am not a jedi anymore, remember," you said defensively, "the order fell, it is time to be something else."
"Is that why you are wearing the armor?" he asked, "to be more Mandalorian and reject the jedi?"
"I am not a Mandalorian," you answered, "but I understand what they stand for."
Hunter shook his head, "this is not who you are."
You stood up and started to walk away, "maybe you're right, but this is who I need to be now." Hunter said nothing, instead he watched you walk out of the tent and towards central command to await the briefing about the invasion. It felt weird to walk away from Hunter, you almost turned back, but there was a power you sensed within yourself when you embraced a new part of yourself. It was unlike anything you have ever felt, but it felt good.
