The next morning you and the batch awoke early and followed Rex to his ship. When you arrived, several people were loading the ship with closed supply crates.
"What are we moving, Captain?" Hunter asked Rex.
Rex flashed a smile, "you'll see when we get there."
Omega, Rafa and Trace were also waiting for you at the bottom of the loading ramp, supervising the others carrying the crates.
"(Y/N)!" Omega called with a wave, "Rex said I could join the mission!"
Rex held up his hands, "I said you could join if the general approved," he explained, ruffling Omega's hair, "don't be getting me in trouble, little one."
You chuckled and nodded to Omega, "you may come along, but stay close to Rafa and Trace and you must listen to my every order."
Omega smiled and put up a tiny salute, "yes general,"
You smiled at her and turned back towards the others, "strap in, let's get moving."
Rex nodded, "rest of the supplies should be loaded momentarily, then we'll be ready for takeoff."
Rex led the kids and the rest of the batch onto the ship, but Hunter grabbed your arm, holding you back for a moment, "are you sure about this?" he asked, "we're not even sure where we are going."
You gave him a knowing look. "You know where we are going and what we are moving, don't you?" he asked, an amused look on his face.
"I may have hacked into the main computer software and downloaded a few files," you said with a laugh.
Hunter chuckled, "I'm going to start calling you Tech."
Hunter through his arm over your shoulders as you followed onto the ship, "I don't actually know what the cargo is," you whispered, "but we are going to Nevarro and Onderon."
Hunter opened his mouth to respond, but you nudged him and you both looked up to see Rex looking at you suspiciously.
But his face turned to amusement, "I figured you would have looked into the files by now."
"It's not that I don't trust you Rex," you responded, "I just don't know if I can trust the others."
Rex waved his hands and waited for you and Hunter to fall into step with him. "We're not actually going to Onderon, Saw Gurrera, one of the other rebels, has taken over there."
"I remember Saw," you said, "We taught the people how to rise up against the separatists during the clone wars. He led the people then, he is a good ally to have."
Rex nodded, "Mothma doesn't think so, he is an extremist who refuses to play by the rules of the others," Rex explained, "he has taken over Onderon and is using it to train more people like him."
"He's fighting the Empire though," Hunter added, "that is a good thing."
Rex continued, "I think so too, but Rebel command does not and that is the end of it around here."
You shook your head but let it go, "what business is there on Navarro?"
"It is the hub for bounty hunters of the guild," Rex responded, "most of the guild works for the Empire now, which means the people are suffering."
"Is it regulated by the Empire?" you asked.
"Not entirely," Rex answered, "the guilds keep it pretty clear, but the influence of the Emperor remains and there is little food and supplies for the people who are living there."
"So we are arming them?" Hunter asked, "to fight the Imperial influence, like on Onderon?"
Rex smiled, "you will see, my friend. But I suggest you strap in, we will be taking off soon."
You nodded and led Hunter to sit down in the common area of the ship while Rex went to check on the supplies being loaded. "Are we sure about arming the citizens of a guild controlled world?" he asked, "it is setting them up for a war that they couldn't possibly win."
You placed a hand on his shoulder, "let's just see what is going on here, Bail said this was an opportunity to see the good they do."
Hunter nodded but did not look convinced, "I just hope the good they do is actually good."
