A loud metallic cling could be heard from every corner of the mining facility. The Inquisitor looked on in confusion as he aimed another swing for your chest, only for the ring to sound again.
You stood up, using all your strength to stand upright again. The Inquisitor's face was laced with confusion as he looked at you, no harm done from his blows, "how?" he whispered to himself.
You laughed as parts of your robes now hung in shreds, the beautifully designed bescar plates still perfectly in place and without a scratch. "I told you I was full of surprises," you laughed again, using the force to bring your lightsaber and the darksaber to your hands and igniting them.
The Inquisitor shook the look off his face, "it changes nothing, I am still going to kill you and your friends, I am still going to burn this place to the ground and collect my prize from the ashes." he paused, gesturing for the troops to come closer. You watched on as Crosshair, Krennick and the rest of the stormtrooper ranks now flanked him, guns at the ready.
"And you, Jedi," the Inquisitor spat, "now stand alone against an army."
You fell into a battle position, gripping each saber in a defensive position, ready to take on the army alone. But then something pulled at you, a familiar presence, "but she is not alone," a voice came ringing through the caves.
You turned to see a hooded figure approaching you, until they finally removed their hood and smiled at you. It was Obi-Wan, older and a little bit battered, but still Obi-Wan in the flesh. He walked up to you slowly, making sure to keep an eye on the imperial forces. You were surprised he abandoned his mission to be here, but you were grateful for his presence.
Obi-Wan smiled and gestured around the caves, as so many people emerged from the shadows. Ahsoka walked towards you, sabers in each hand, ready to stand with you against any army. "Good to see you, master," she nodded to you and Obi-Wan as she took a position on your right, immediately dropping to a defensive stance. Omega looked on in awe as more people emerged, all the clones now moving to stand directly behind you, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka.
Your attention was drawn to Bo-Katan and Kaska, who emerged from the far side, followed by an entire squadron of Mandalorian warriors. Bo-Katan held her helmet in her hand, flashing you a knowing smile before securing it on her head and nodding to the others. The Mandalorians, engaged their jet packs, now hovering above the rest of your forming force.
Behind them followed Cham and Eleni Syndulla, the entirety of their village behind them. A bubbling Hera, who now looked much older, stood between her parents, strong and proud. She carried two pistols on her sides and wore goggles atop her head. She must have finished her flight training and was now a skilled pilot. She gestured for her people to follow her as she began walking towards the rest of you.
On the other side of the cave, materialized a band of pirates, led by Hondo, who was brandishing a large gun on his shoulder. He flashed you a flirtatious smile as he led his people forward towards the center of the cave. As he moved forward, he gestured to a large crate of explosives that had to contain enough ammo to blow up the entire moon.
In front of him two figures came into view that you did not expect. Walking in confidently, stroud Cad Bane and Fennec Shand, each carrying a gun and staring at the army ahead of them. Shand nodded to you in respect, before flashing Omega a smile. Bane simply tipped his hat to you, before staring ahead at the army once more, presumably assessing the ranks for weakness.
Not far in front of them you saw the figures of Cut and Sue, brandishing farming equipment, but with serious looks on their faces. Cut and Rex nodded to one another as they stood across from the stormtroopers. Cut walked to stand near Rex, while Sue ran upwards, taking a snipers position well above the battlefield.
You looked around, smiling at each of your friends, before locking eyes with Hunter. He looked around in awe before nodding to you in respect. You had allies, you had friends. This whole time you thought that being a jedi had alienated you from others, but in fact it allowed you to make friends that you never thought possible. You never expected this many of your friends to come to your aid so quickly, but now you knew that you were never alone in this galaxy.
You then turned back to Ahsoka and Obi-Wan, both of them having their hands twitching on their sabers. Then you finally locked eyes with the Grand Inquisitor, for the first time you could see genuine fear and concern in his eyes.
You smiled before hoisting your saber above your head, "Rebels....."
