"Thank you for meeting me early," Bo-Katan said once you entered the command tent, "I was hoping you could help me plan certain parts of the invasion."

"Do you not have military leaders within your ranks?" you asked, coming to stand across from her overlooking the hologram table.

"We do," she replied, "but none as experienced and successful as you."

You nodded to her, "what can I help with?"

Bo-Katan pressed a button on the control panel and a hologram of outside the domed capital city appeared. "This is our landing zone," she said pointing to a small access point, "once we enter the atmosphere, they will close it down, but our man inside will unlock it."

"That is a small access point," you noticed, "we'll have to land their in waves, and they would beat us without our full strength."

She nodded, "I know, but we should be able to get a few waves in before the garrison can deploy to this location," she explained, "it is far enough away from the throne room that they won't expect us to attack there."

You rubbed your hand on your chin, "we should play into their hands, cause a distraction."

Bo-Katan looked intrigued, "what are you thinking?"

You pointed to the main entrance to the city, "part of our forces should attack here, where they expect us to, the rest should enter through that point, hopefully unnoticed and flank them at the main entrance."

Bo-Katan nodded, "alright, but what about Maul?"

You smiled, "he is a coward, he will remain in the throne room while the others fight," you explained, "leave him to me."

She nodded and smiled at you, "let's tell the others."

A little while later, all of the forces were in the main hall awaiting orders. You, Bo-Katan and Kaska all stood at the front beside a hologram of the city. While Bo-Katan was explaining the plan, you locked eyes with Hunter from across the room. He looked concerned, but you just nodded to him and turned your attention back to the others as Bo-Katan finished her briefing.

"Kaska will lead Beta squadron to attack the main entrance of the city, General (Y/N) and I will lead the forces through the side access point and flank the forces attacking the entrance," she explained, "the clones will come with our group and lead a side attack to surprise the enemy."

There were murmurs of excitement and admiration as Bo-Katan finished, "today, we reclaim our home, today we will sit in the halls of our ancestors victorious!" She threw a fist in the air, and everyone followed suit, cheering with anticipation of battle. You did the same, standing beside the leadership.

Very quickly the force was about to move out, you and the bad batch were standing outside the Marauder when Bo-Katan approached you. "Are you ready, Jedi?" she asked.

You nodded, "always."

"If you wanted to take your clones with you to the throne room, I would not object," she explained.

You cringed, but before you could say anything the others gathered around, "what do you mean the throne room, our mission is flanking the main force?" Hunter asked.

You turned to him, "that is your mission, I have a different one."

"Technically, Bo-Katan never mentioned the general's mission," Tech added.

"Thanks Tech," you said sarcastically, "my mission is to defeat Maul."

"Alone? Are you crazy?" Hunter exclaimed.

You turned from him and back to Bo-Katan for a moment, "thank you for complicating things, but they will stick with the original plan and I will bring you Maul's head at the end of it."

She nodded in apology and walked off, securing her helmet on her head and heading towards her ship.

You turned back to the others, "you will proceed with the mission you were given, I will be with you until the throne room and then will break off, leaving Hunter in charge."

"(Y/N), please," Hunter said, grabbing your wrist.

"I am still your general and you will follow my order," you said in a commanding tone.

The others looked surprised, but began to walk into the ship after small nods. Hunter looked at you first angry and then only hurt, "you don't have to do this alone," he whispered, defeated.

You wanted to reach out to him, the hurt in his voice ripped at your heart. But you kept your face hard as stone, "just follow my orders."

You turned on your heels and boarded the ship. "Yes, general," Hunter said under his breath before he followed behind you and entered the ship.

Before you knew it, you were descending on the capital city. Even from this elevation, you could hear the sirens as the capital city went under lockdown. "Your man on the ground better be ready," you said into the com channel.

"He will be there," Bo-Katan's voice came in your ear.

You got closer and closer to the city, all of the ships dodging the oncoming fire from the city's anti-aircraft guns. Suddenly, you saw the defenses begin to lower. "Told you," Bo-Katan's voice came through with a laugh.

"Tech, break off with the others and head to the side access point," you instructed.

Tech guided the ships off with the others. The distraction must have been working, because once you got around the side of the dom, the oncoming fire ceased.

"So, the invasion begins," you whispered, "I am coming for you, Maul."
