He stared out at the passing stars of hyperspace on his way to take Omega, deep past the outer rim. He had no idea where to start, but he knew he had to get far away from imperial influence.

His mind drifted to (Y/N), her smile, her face, her selflessness. He knew that there was no way to contact her without endangering Omega, but his hand hovered over the comms button with her signature code typed in. Every part of his body yearned to press it, just to make sure she was okay, just to hear her voice again. But he pulled his hand back slowly, knowing he couldn't endanger Omega.

He slammed his fist against the counsel in frustration and sadness. There was nothing he wanted more than to see (Y/N) again, he had never felt such love in his entire life, and it killed him to think that he had lost it.

He pushed against the counsel again and stood up, walking from the cockpit back to his room. He slammed the door closed, then silently cursed hoping he didn't wake Omega up, who had fallen asleep crying in Wrecker's room.

Hunter began throwing things around in frustration, slamming bits of armor and tablets and trash all around the room. As he threw a box against the wall, a small holodisk clattered out and a blue image appeared. It was (Y/N), her face cut up but a smile on her face, it had to have been recorded recently.

"Hello Hunter," she said quietly, "if you're listening to this, it means that we were separated." She paused, "I figured a time might come where you had to leave, I hope you know that if there was any other way, I would have tried that first, but your safety was always something I yearned for."

She continued, "I'm so sorry, you please do not come looking for me. This is your chance to get away, your chance to live in relative peace. I endanger you, and I endanger Omega, that's why I have to stay away, that's why I have to leave, for good. Omega is your priority now, take her far away from the reaches of the Empire, you have to keep her safe at all costs - you have to protect her and keep her hidden. They will keep coming for her, but if you keep moving, they will never find you."

She paused again, her blue hologramed eyes staring right into his soul, "I know it is going to be hard, and trust me, there is nothing I want more than to find you and be with you forever," she smiled sadly, "but it was just never in the cards for us."

Finally, she stopped, he looked up at the hologram and realized she was rubbing her arms, he had learned that this was a sign of her nervousness. She smiled fondly before she spoke again, "Hunter, there is something else I need to tell you."
