You recounted your experience to Obi-Wan, he looked on thoughtfully as you concluded, "I think this place has to be the key to something bigger, it was shown to me for a reason."
Obi-Wan stroked his beard, "yes, I agree, but the fact still remains on how to find it, without dying of course."
You nodded, "while I am with the rebellion, I am going to make treks to the temples around the galaxy, see if I can find anything in the remote archives."
"Be careful," Obi-Wan warned, "a lot of the known temples were already raided by the Empire."
You nodded in understanding, "yes, master."
Obi-Wan walked with you towards his ship, where there was also a lone x-wing left for you. Obi-Wan began walking to his ship, "Obi-Wan," you called.
He turned back to you, "yes?"
You sighed, "if something happens to me, promise me you will find Hunter and Omega."
"(Y/N), I don't think-" you gave him a serious look, he sighed and nodded, "of course I will look after them."
"Thank you." you responded with a smile. Obi-Wan took a few more steps to the cockpit of his ship, "may the force be with you, master."
He flashed you a smile, one that reminded you of the more carefree days in the republic, one that reminded you of your younger days. "We'll see each other again, may the force be with you."
And just like that his ship lifted off and exited the base. You watched him go before hopping into your x-wing. The small astromech came to life as you powered up the engines, "alright R8, let's get out of here."
You lifted the ship up and through the base's shield and into the atmosphere of the small moon. You watched as the stars surrounded you as you continued to rise to deep space. R8 beeped lightly and the translation came through on the screen in front of you, where to?
You thought for a moment, wondering what your next steps would truly be. You let your mind drift to Crosshair, Wrecker and Tech, their spirits now released. You thought of Echo and Rex, finally finding some peaceful place to live out their days. You drifted to Hondo, Bane, Fennec and Bo-Katan, going their separate ways and finding a new place in the galaxy.
Then you let your mind wander to Hunter, playing an imagine in your head of him running around with Omega. Slowly, Omega turned into Kai, you son in your dream, you watched Hunter scoop him up playfully, his long dark hair disheveled. You smiled peacefully as the image played in your head. R8 beeped again, snapping you back to reality, are you okay?
You smiled, letting the image fade, "yes R8, I'm alright." You pulled your mind back to the present, leaving the image in the past, knowing dwelling on it will only bring you pain. You thought of Hunter one more time, trying to memorize his smile, his hair, the way his muscles contracted under his clothes. You wanted to remember every inch of him, you loved him more than anything, and you desperately wanted to find him.
But you shook your head again, clearing it, before typing some controls into the hyperdrive. R8 beeped again, where to? The translation came back.
"Lothol."
