You nodded and followed Bo-Katan and Kaska back into the throne room, which was the center of operations while they rebuilt.
"Thank you," Bo-Katan said when you all sat at a makeshift table.
You nodded, "you're welcome."
"Without you, we would never have been able to reclaim our home," Kaska added, "we owe you a great debt."
You smiled, "let's call it even from you saving us from the Empire."
Bo-Katan smiled and nodded in agreement, "I think this belongs to you," she said, sliding you over the hilt of the darksaber.
You let your fingertips brush over the markings, but quickly pulled them back, "it belongs to you," you said, sliding it back to her, "it is the symbol you need to protect and rule your planet."
She looked on in contemplation, "I used to think that, yes, I used to think that I needed that saber to have any claim to the throne," she explained, "but you changed my mind, I need to be a generous and kind ruler and win the hearts of the people on my own."
You looked at her in surprise as she slid the weapon back to you, "if I am worthy of the weapon, it will return to me one day," she finished.
You stood and nodded to her in respect, "this also belongs to you," you said, pulling off a plate of armor.
Bo-Katan shook her head, "keep it, it is yours now."
"But it was made for your sister," you protested.
"There could be no better legacy for my sister than you," she said proudly, "please wear it in her honor and always be worthy of it."
You nodded, "I shall."
"Oh, there is one more thing," Kaska said, tossing you a holodisk.
You caught it. "I received a coded transmission from an old friend of yours," Bo-Katan explained.
"I am just about out of friends," you laughed.
Bo-Katan smiled, "this one you will want to see."
