Chapter 31

The Inquisitors' attacks were quicker and stronger than you expected. You were being pushed back time and again, using all your strength just to keep him at bay.

You occasionally took a shot, but the Inquisitor never flinched. He suddenly turned his saber quickly and slashed against your leg where you had no armor.

You winced in pain, dropping to a knee for a moment. Behind you Hunter took steps to reach you, but the other clones held him back. "No, Hunter," Rex whispered, holding him back, "to interfere means you kill us all."

Hunter pulled against them, "I can't let her do this alone." The others said nothing, they just looked on while holding Hunter back.

The inquisitor swung downward while you were still on one knee. You lifted up one saber, using all your strength to stop his momentum. You threw him back, simultaneously getting to your feet and swinging the darksaber around, pushing the inquisitor backwards.

The fight continued for a long time, exchanging blows with the Inquisitor until you were breathless. The inquisitor laughed as he pushed you again, you lay on the ground now, tired, bloody and bruised. He lifted his saber up, aiming a shot at your heart, you stood up your hand, making it impossible to grip your saber to save you.

"It seems as though you are not the powerful Jedi I had hoped," The inquisitor chuckled. He glanced at your friends, staring desperately. "Is this your general?" he shouted at them.

You glanced back, your vision skewed by the ground, but you locked eyes with them. The Inquisitor then bent down, picking you up by the throat and turning you to face them, "IS THIS YOUR GENERAL?" he shouted again.

You pulled against his grip, but he was too strong, so you spat in his face, a mixture of saliva and blood. In frustration, he threw you back to the ground, aiming a kick to your stomach.

You winced in pain as you collapsed into the dirt. Suddenly a small voice sounded against the silence, "(Y/N)!" it sounded. You looked up and saw the small figure of Omega bounding into the fray.

"NO!" you shouted. Hunter saw Omega and his eyes opened wide, quickly running towards her and scooping her up before she could run towards you.

She reached for you and squirmed in Hunter's arms. You tried to stand, but the Inquisitor kicked you again laughing, "I will kill you, Jedi, and then I will have the girl."

You spat blood out of your mouth, trying to get up again. You looked up, locking eyes with Hunter. He had a tear in his eyes as he held Omega back, but couldn't take his eyes off of you. You nodded, trying to let him know it was ok before mouthing the word, "run."

You rolled onto your back, looking up at the Inquisitor, his wicked smile the last thing you saw before he swung his saber, aiming at your heart.
