I found Julieta before asking, "Tia Julieta do you care if I ask you something?"

"Go ahead... I need to go back to the casita and get  some more biscuits anyways." She replies

"So, and in now way do I mean to disrespect your gift Tia Julieta, but Antonio inspired me to dive into the life side of my gift,a dn I managed it heal a woman..." I say

Julieta lord at me in shock beofer saying, "seriously Atlas? I take no offense to that, that's incredible!"

I blush before saying, "but I had no side effect, no nose bleeds, no coughing, no bruises, nothing. Is it possible I healed myself in the process? Or do you think something worse is waiting for me?"

Julieta thought before saying, "well... I think there's one way to find out... we both know that my gift stops working on you when you get sick... and even after that, my gift still works really slowly on you, so, if you've healed yourself, then I'll make another batch of biscuits, we can cut your hand and see if it heals you..."

I hesitate before agreeing before saying, "we can't tell Antonio about this though.. he';l freak if he knows I'm purposely putting myself in harms way..."

Julieta nods before staying. 'What happened to you being extremely opposed to being with Antonio? Wasn't it just yesterday morning Bruno was telling me you rejected?"

I sigh, smiling but instead I said, "Antonio admitted his feelings for me yesterday and then we shared a few moments yesterday and seeing him so worried about me when I got back yesterday wavered some opinions..."

She nodded before we reached the casita. I went to go inside abut found the floor moved pushing me out adn teh doors shut.

Julieta opened the doors before saying, "Casita?!"

The doors and windows squeaked open  and shut furiously, and we heard a loud cracking sound like wood. Julieta shot around and ran up towards the noise. I tried it ge tint but Casita wouldn't let me. After wha felt like forever before Julieta comes outside and says, "your door, it;s broken... that's why the Casita is keeping you out... without your door the Casita is casting you away. "

I flexed my hands before asking, "does this mean?"

"Your gift is gone? I - I honestly don;t know... I'm trying to figure out wha happened to your door... why don;t you go back to Antonio?"

I shake my head, "and tell him what? He's going to know something's wrong... I don't understand why I'm being cast out... the casita's never shunned anyone before!"

Julieta shook her head before having me sit down and she said, "I don;t know Atlas... but you were left on our doorstep with you were a baby, and the Castia was working unrelentingly to make sure you stare dint eh household... so now I wonder if since the one reason it was keeping you is broken, if it;s not pushing you away... I can try to convince the Castia to let you in but I can;t promise not state of your room..."

My eyes got teary befoer I say, "What if your gift works on me... because I lost my gift?"

Julieta wipes my tears with her thumbs before saying, "I thought you didn;t want your gift..."

"I jsut found a way to help people Tia Julieta! And I;m finally getting to a happy and stable place... jsut becuase I didn't plan on using my gift doesn't mean I wanted to lose it..."

Julieta says softly, "you'll be ok Atlas, I promise..."

Then she turned to the Casita before saying, "Casita what's wrong... you were created to help our people not shut them out!"
