59 ~ Antonio's POV

I followed them upstairs. Eliana took Atlas to her room before leading Atlas over to her case. The light was no longer red. It was white like all the others. The case was full of flowers and pictures of her and Eliana. The pictures represented memories. Atlas smiled and hugged Eliana befoer she turned to me. I smiled and picked up Eliana before whispering to her, "thank you."

She nodded before Bruno's voice interrupted with Atlas's name.

Atlas looked up befoer walking over it Bruno. He put his hand on her back and lead her away, talking to ehr softly. I watched Eliana's eyebrows furrowed as she listened to thier thoughts/conversation as they walked away. As much as I wanted to ask her what they were talking about, I decided against it. I set her on her bed and she says, "Tio Bruno's vision isn't a bad one... if you really want to know..."

"What did I say about answering ti someone's thoughts." I say

"Your worried about mama though, and I didn't want you to be worried." She says

I smiled and said, "Your mother is a strong but fragile woman. For her it;s easier in her mind to run away from her problems then face them. But she doesn't realize how strong she is... I worry about you mother because all of us are about to face a huge obstacle when it comes to you and the village, and fear Atlas may get overwhelmed."

Eliana sat and watched me, I turned to look at the cases. I found myself looking at Atlas's. Eliana watched me before she asks, "Why are you still mad at mama?"

I glanced at Eliana and sighed before saying, "I don't know.... I just feel like there's something she's not telling me."

Eliana fell silent before I look at her and say, "you know don't you?"

She blushed and looked away.

I got a little irritated, even Eliana won't tell me. However Atlas came back about that moment. She looks at us and says, "I[m going to go with Bruno, Camilo, and Dolores into town for a bit, I'll be back."

"Why?" I ask, looking at her, "and why is Camilo going?"

Atlas got a slightly irritated look and she says, "Why are you still jealous?"

Eliana blushed and she pulled in her skirt. I shook my head and took a deep breath before saying, "go. I'll be here when you get back."

Atlas got a sad look and she walks over taking my hand pulling me out into the hallway, closing the door behind her. She kissed my cheek and asked, "what's wrong Antonio? You don't usually get mad so easily..."

I tucked some her hair out of her face before saying softly, "Your secrets are starting to get to me... Eliana was asking me some questions and I realized she knows why you left... but she won't tell me either.., so I got angry..."

Atlas blushed and said weakly, "promise me you won;t take it out on any but me please..."

Insight and say, "why won't you jsut tell me why you left?"

She took a deep breath and looked at me before she said softly,c"I wasn't sure if Eliana was yours."

My eyes widened and she says softly, "so, I was going to go to the house I took you to, and use my gift to take me to the land of the dead, and I was going to stay there."

"And let the baby die," I said softly

Her eyes got teary and she nodded. She was ashamed.

"What made you decided against it." I ask putting my hand on her cheek

"My parents..." Ishe says, "and you."

She took a deep breath and took my hand pulling my to her room, to get us out of the hallway before she says, "I watched you and Camilo for a long time after I ran... and after my parents convinced me not to go through with my plan, I realized that there was a far more likely chance that Eliana was yours, and not Camilo's... and so I knew, that despite whether I was there or not, you would be a incredibly father..."

I fell silent before and jsu stared for a moment before Atlas says weakly, "Antonio?"

I looked up at her, then the ring and then her. I took her hand and kissed the ring before I kissed her and said, "that is behind us now... and that's what's important... why are you going to the village?"

"Bruno had a vision of our wedding, and he needs Camilo's charismatic behavior to convince people our wedding is ok. Then Dolores is going to take me dress shopping because Mirabel is going to make your tux instead of my dress. Trust me though, she thoroughly disappointed that she can't make my dress though."

I blushed and said, "we haven't even picked a date or location yet'

She grins and says, "your family is impatient you should know this..."

We both hesitated when she said our family. Then she blushed and said, "your family."

I smiled and put my hands on her face as I say softly, "our family. Now go, have fun..."

Then I gently pushed her away causing her to smile and run off.

***Quick Question for my readers: I would like to do a drawing of Atlas in her wedding dress and Antonio in his suit, however would you all like those drawings when I write the scene where they get their outfits. So Atlas's would be in the following chapter, and Antonio's would be in the next, or would you like me to save their looks for the wedding chapter(s)?***
