Eliana looked anxious look and she walked over to Antonio, breaking out in tears as she said, "Daddy I'm not ready..."
Antonio got a sad look and says, "Yes you are sweetheart... you're more ready for this then anyone here... remember take a deep breath and shake off the worries,.."
Eliana copied Antonio and I watched the adorableness that was Eliana "shaking off the worry" before Antonio smiles and laughs sayign, "good girl... now, go with Tia Dolores to your waiting spot, ok?"
Eliana nodded and walked off with Dolores. Antonio walks over to me, kissing me and taking my hand, running his thumb over the ring befoer he backs up slightly and says, "Everything will be ok..."
I nodded and he puts his arm around me walking me upstairs to Eliana;s door. There were quiet gasps and rumors and I cuddled closer to Antonio. He wraps his arms around my waist. Pepa and Julieta looked up at Antonio and I. Antonio nodded slightly and they began the ceremony. I quietly recited the whole thing under my breath, having it memorized by heart befoer seeing teh lights turn to Eliana as she stood pearlized by fear at the end of the walkway. She started to shrink back, like she was goign to run away, but Lucas appeared out of no where and took her hand. She looked at him and smiled before they walked together. Mirabel and Antonio exchanged a warm smile before the gaze returned dot Eliana and Lucas. Lucas let go over her when she go tot the stairs but by that point she was watching Antonio and I.
She got to the room and Mirabel's bent down asking Eliana if she promised to sue her gift for good, and to protect the community in which Eliana said yes and she looked at her door. The room when silent as anxiety took over and a mass held breath was taken.
Eliana touched her doorknob and we watched it glow before she hesitated and I watched her look around and she got a overwhelmed look. One Dolores must've recognized because she quickly looked a tAntonio and said, "Antonio help her."
Anotnio let go of me and gently pulled Eliana over ot him and she cried, "it's so loud. It's so loud daddy."
Her eyes got teary and she says, "no it;s not ok"
She looked around in panic beofer poeple, began whispering and murmuring. When she put her hand on her head the design for her door settled in.

People gasped nad began to talk and Eliana cried and shouted, "BE QUIET!"
As if on command the room fell silent and I watched panic seat into peoples faces. No one could speak. She;d forced them to be quiet.
Antonio;s eyes got teary adn he looked up saying, "Hermana!"
Dolores ran up and says softly, "sh. Sh. Sh... is it your head?"
Eliana nodded and said, "I can hear everyone though their not speaking!"
I looked down and said softly, "thoughts. She can read thoughts... and she's hearing everyone at once..."
Dolores nods and says softly, "Anotnio, take her to Atlas's room adn him to her.."

I looked up, "the death, you said death is silent."
Dolores nods and I ick her up carrying her to my room, letting Antonio in beofer shutting door.
Eliana instantly relaxed and she said softly, "my head has never been so loud before..."
Anotnio nods and says weakly, "Are you ok Eliana?"
She rubs her head and says, "I think so... why is my gift a painful one?"
"Awe, Eliana, every gift has a learning curve... ironically your Tia Dolores went deaf to sounds that were right mext to her when she got her gift due to the fact that she hadn't learned to block out sounds yet... so when we spoke to ehr we had to treat her like she couldn't hear us. We had to make sure she could see us befoer we started talking..."
Eliana nodded and looked around Atlas's room befoer asking, "why is your room quiet mommy?"
I played with hair and said, "My bedroom door cuts off the land of the living from my room..."
I glanced around at the spirits that were lingering heavy in teh room. Then Dolores slipepd in, shutting the door behind her befor she says softly, "Here Eliana... let's see if this could help you..."
She stuck some earplug sun Eliana's ears befoer eliana nodded and said, "I'm already doing that though."
We looked at dolore sun confusion, seeing how Eliana's gift had to do with her head not her ears and Dolores says, "definitely mind reading. I was going to tell ehr to practice reading jsut one of our minds without being able to hear us. ."
Eliana nodded and says, "I can't though..."
I put my hand on her cheek and she says softly, "ok mommy..."
I nodded and she says softly, "Speak."
Outside we could hear loud voices all teh sudden and chaotic screaming. I shuttered and Antonio put his hand on my hip before saying, "Do you want to-"
"No! I don't want to go back out there..." she whimpers
Antonio sighs and says, "we're going to have to set some ground rules about interrupting..."
I looked up and looked around, almost instantly notice I got something strange. There used to be five bridges... now there were six.
I stood and Eliana followed my gaze befoer she says, "Take it!"
I blushed and said, "I]no, not while your hurting."
Antonio put his hand on my back and says, "Go ahead mí amor, you can tell us if you find anything."
I blushed and looked at Eliana. She studied my face before saying, "daddy and Tia are here... I'll be ok..."
I nodded and kisses her forehead before taking a deep breath. I walked across the bridge. On the other side I found myself in what looked like a spare bedroom. It was decorated to my surprise with all things that Eliana enjoys. Her toys, her drawing supplies, even her clothes. The only way into the room was through the bridge. I sat on my knees and looked around. The casita and miracle really thinks of everything. It knew Eliana would need somewhere she could get out of her others head... I blushed and shook my head before standing again and running back across, I scoop up Eliana and Antonio says, "what? What is it?"
I smiled and said, "follow me..." 'They followed me across and everyone looked around in amazement. Eliana immediately ran over to her bed and hopped on it beofer jumping adn syaing excitedly, :it;s perfect it[s perfect!"
I smiled and took out her earplugs, saying, "you[ll be ok here Eliana..."
She nods sitting down before saying softly, "Do I have to go back out there?"
Antonio looks at me and says, "not tonight, no... but eventually yes... the rest of the familia will be worried about you..."
She nods and says, "Gracias padre..."
He smiles at her using Spanish before he kisses her forehead and we left her to explore.
