55 ~ Antonio's POV

I carried Eliana downstairs before seeing her down. She saw Luke and walked over to him. He got a slightly fearful look before they quickly became friends again and ran off the go explore Eliana's new room. I took a deep breath before Mirabel grabbed my attention and said, "sooooooo... have you talked to Atlas about wedding plans?"

I blushed and shook my head, "no,... and I'm not talking to ehr right at the moment becuase she's not feeling so great."

Mirabel nods before she studies me and says, "are you ok?"

I took a deep breath, crossed my arms, and said, "yeah, yeah, I just didn't sleep very good last night..."

Mirabel put her arm on mine before saying, "She will be alright, Tonito..."

"I know that... but I'm scared for her Mira. She's just a kid, but people are treating her like she's dangerous. It's like they forget that she is a kid. That she can't control my gift... and it doesn't help that people still fear Atlas. I just, I don't know Mirabel... sometimes I do wonder if it would hav e been a little easier for Atlas hadn't come back." I sigh, immediately regretting it as the words came out of my mouth

Mirabel gave me a stern look and says, "don't say that Tonito. I know it asn't particularly kind to Atlas when she came back, but I did notice how much happier you were, and still are... You love her Tonito. Do not let your current feels derail that..."

I blushed and nodded befoer saying softly, "Why don't you go work on invitations to Atlas and I's wedding... i[m sure your itching to get started..."

Mirabel nods and syas, "I[m serious Antonio. I know you love Atlas... and you love your daughter. But do not compare them..."

I nodded and she walks away. I leaned against the handrail and rubbed my face before i heard Camilo's stupid voice talking to Dolores. She was hanging up laundry and he was standing there complaining about me. Dolores eventually sighed and turned to him saying, "Camilo you are acting like your still fifteen! You and Antonio's arguments are ridiculous and petty at this point! He is almost 32 and you are 47 and she is 27. You do realize that right? Will you please stop having these petty arguments. You are not getting the girl. Now please, I'm begging you, grow up."

I covered my mouth to stifle my laughter. Gotta love my big sister. Always brutally honest. I shook my head and went to the kitchen. Mom, Bruno, and Juliet aware standing around talking. They fell silent thought when I entered so I said, "sorry, sorry, I'll leave."

They shake their heads and wave me over before Julieta asks, "Did the pancake work?"

I shake my head no and say, "she's resting up in my room..."

Julieta got a nervous look and Bruno says, "she may be slipping into another one of Inbetween states Antonio, will you keep an eye on her?"

"Of course." I reply before saying, "I'm sure Dolores already told you three but I just wanted to tell you all... Atlas and I are engaged... I proposed to her last night."

They smiled and congratulated me before I say, "I'm worried, that asAtlas and I are planning wedding, Eliana might begin to feel lost in the shuffle... could I ask you all to make sure she doesn't feel left out?"

They nod wndI say,c"thank you..."

Mom kisses -the side of my head before rose says, "I'm proud of you, Tonito... you care so much for the both of them... please don't loose that..."

I blushed and say, "I won't Mamaa, I promise..."

She nods before Julieta asks, "Is Eliana ok? She was so scared yesterday..."

I nod and say, "she jsut got startled from the suddenl loudness of everyone's thoughts so we carried her away, but we took her back to Atlas room's before taking her to her new room and letting her sleep there..."

Julieta nods  before saying, "that's good... What are you planning on doing today?"

I took a deep breath and slipped my hands into my pockets while saying, "it depends... I think if I go into the village it will just cause a negative reaction, but I need to give Eliana and Lucas some space to allow them to rekindle. And Atlas is sick, so I may just spend the day in my room and be there if Atlas needs me..."

They nod and Bruno says, "Well before we loose you to Atlas, will you come with me?"

I nodded and followed Bruno back to his room. Bruno opened a drawer and I looked in awe at all the visions that he had stored inner, each neatly labeled. He pulled out one before handing it to me. On the vision it was a picture of Atlas on her knees crying while I was holding her. Unfortunately I found myself looking at the vision without shock so I looked at him and say, "I need more explanation..."

Bruno takes a deep breath and says, "Last night, I got worried about the three of you so I had a vision, and I found myself watching this from a couple months form now..."

I nodded and Bruno says, "this is a roughly a week before your wedding Antonio. Atlas has a miscarriage..."

I looked up in shock now and Bruno says, "Antonio, I wanted to tell you this becuase it's not going to making easier, but I want you to be prepared... and be prepared to help Atlas... because this is exactly the kind of thing that could push her to run again... the fear of disappointing you, and those around her... the thing that could cause her to leave you standing at the alter. So she is going to need extra reassurance... and you have got to let her know your there for her... nad most of all, be prepared to have Elaina help her."

I fell silent and jsut stared at the vision before I stutter, "you said, a week before her and i's wedding?"

Bruno nods and I set down the vision before looking at Bruno and asking, "where was Eliana in this vision?"

"Honest? She read your two's thoughts... and accidentally blurts it to the entire family during a meal... you tow had left to go Frio the doctor right before the meal and eliana stayed behind..." Bruno replies

I ran my hand through my hair before nodding gently and asking, "do you know if I can prevent this?"

Bruno shook his head and I say softly, "ok..."

Then I turned and quickly sped walked back to the bedroom.
