50 ~Atlas's POV

We hesitated to take a breath but out breath was interrupted by Eliana's voice saying, "Papa? Mama?"

We looked over and saw Eliana. She was yawning and rubbing her eyes. I smiled and laughed slightly. Antonio shook his head and walked her out to go fix her hair and dress. I jsut stood there and smiled looking at the ring.

I shook my head and went to go find Mirabel. I immediately regretted my decision when I started hearing gasps sand whispering. I tried it just forget it. I found Mirabel at the front doors so I walked over and pulled her off tot he side and showed her the ring while syaing, "I guess your comment from earlier isn't so random now..."

She smiled widely,nodding before saying, "it;s gorgeous... Antonio has good tastes..."

I blushed and smiled before saying, "he does."

Then Mirabel asks, "Where is Eliana?"

"She just woke up from a nap so Antonio is fixing her hair and dress..." I reply

Mirabel nods before she says, "the party is going great so far. Pepa and Julieta were thinking of beginning Eliana's ceremony in about an hour,,,"

I nodded and Mirabel nodded back before happily slipping away. I shook my head beofer looking at Camilo. He was talking to a couple guest. I blushed. What Antonio said playing in my head. I walked over and Camilo looked at me before continuing his conversation. Once he was done he turned it me and says softly, "we need to talk..."

I nodded and he takes my hand walking me down to th3 river. When we got there he looked at the ring and says softly, "congratulations."

I gave him a pitying look and saying, "you didn't sound to enthusiastic..."

He takes a deep breath and says, "We both know that we can't be together... but for some reason I can't get over my feelings for you..."

He turns his back on me and walks a few paces away from me, crossing his arms. I took a shakey deep breath but didn't say anything befoer Camilo turns back to me and put his hands on my waist befoer saying, "we have to break this bond between us, but I don't know how..."

My stomach filled with butterflies when he touched my waist and I say, "I don't know either. The kiss didn't work, sleeping together didn't work, being seperated didn't work, setting boundaries didn't work... I'm starting to think nothing will..."

Camilo's eyes slid over me before he looked at my left hand. My death hand. He kissed it and I say, "no. No one would ever forgive me."

"Antonio would." Camilo said softly pulling me closer to him.

My cheek flushed and whimpered, "Camilo... I'm engaged, your married... we can;t keep doing this..."

He nodded and says, "you look beautiful."

I blushed however I found for once when he tried to kiss me I turned my face away. I covered his mouth and backed up and said  softly, "Camilo, as much as I long for your touch, and as many butterflies as I get... we cna[t keep this up. I will not betray Antonio again..."

Camilo looked thoroughly irritated and surprised but he nodded and says, "ok. Fine. I get it..."

I shook my head and snaps,d ''what;s with teh change in philosophy? You were literally sayign we needed to cut it off a few seconds ago!"

Camilo shook his head and shrugs. I shake my head and turn walking away befoer camilo stepped on my dress purposely tearing it. I gasped and tripped listening to the dress tear. My eyes got teary and he walked over to me saying, "I know what I said but I never thought you'd go through with it..."

Then he sits next to me and puts one hand on my stomach to hold me down. I pulled at his hand and arm, my heart racing. He finally let go and punched me to cause me to freeze.

Then he shook his head and kissed me saying, "I love you Atlas. Even though I know I shouldn't. Take care of Antonio, please. He might hate me for sleeping with you... but he;s still my little brother and I want to know you'll take care of him..."

I hesitated and blushed before taking a few shakes deep breaths before saying, "of course..."

Camilo nodded and looks at my dress saying softly, 'you really do look beautiful Atlas.'

Then he says, "I'll go get Mirabel..."

I stood and grabbed his arm before saying, "Why'd you punch me?"

He looks at me and sighs saying, "To scare you. Fear is a terrible but powerful replacement for love."

I gave him a sad look and watched him walk away.
