Kokichi stared at the fire flickering in the fireplace, glad he could finally breathe as his cold had passed. He continued to eat his meal, both of his boyfriends joining him as they watched a film together, bundled up due to the chilly weather. Unable to focus on the movie for long periods, Kokichi glanced around the room to reset his mind, eyes landing on the open window beside them.
"It's snowing!" Kokichi shouted, pointing at the white fleck floating in the air outside the window.
"It's been snowing for a while," Shuichi muttered, following Kokichi's gaze.
"It's actually snowing though!" Kokichi grinned, placing down his food and jumping off the couch. "Like, snow coming from the sky!"
"Where else would it come from?" Rantaro laughed. Ignoring the greenette's question, Kokichi ran to the back door, throwing himself outside as he already had many layers of clothing protecting him from the harsh environment. Jumping onto the porch, Kokichi noticed the thick layer of snow covering the few steps leading towards the obscured backyard pathway.
Feeling the cold air freeze his face and hands as the breeze flew by, Kokichi watched snowflakes elegantly flutter to the ground, adding to the collection on Earth. Having an urge to plunge into the grounded cloud, Kokichi smirked, giving into childish desires as he leapt from the porch, thunking into the snow.
Giggling to himself, Kokichi heard the sliding glass door open as Rantaro and Shuichi stared down at him from the porch. Sighing, Kokichi decided to stand, finding he had no chance against the strong barrier holding him against the ground. "Uh... Help?"
"Why? You can get out, right?" Shuichi smirked, the two chuckling at Kokichi's struggle.
"You're the one who jumped in there," Rantaro sighed.
"Just help me you fucks!" Kokichi shouted, his face falling into a pout.
"Come on," Shuichi sighed, wading into the thick snow and grabbing Kokichi's hand. As Rantaro gripped his other wrist, the two pulled the thin, short male to his feet, lifting him onto the wooden porch. "Let's go inside."
"No!" Kokichi frowned, putting his hands on his hips. "I want to make a snowman!"
"Kokichi, you've seen snow a million times," Rantaro stated.
"And?!" Turning from his boyfriends, Kokichi reached into the snow and grabbed as much as he could in his hand, dumping it onto the porch. Rolling the snow around to clear the porch which crunched below his body, Kokichi made a white, irregular sphere.
"Are you really making a snowman?" Shuichi asked, leaning against the railing.
"Let him do his thing Shu," Rantaro smiled. Kokichi ignored the two, grabbing more snow to make two smaller spheres and stacking them to create a snowman. Slipping his hand underneath the snow, Kokichi slid it along, colliding with a few pebbles hidden amongst the white sheet. Shaking the natural white powder from the stones, Kokichi poked them into his snowman, creating eyes.
Hmm, I need something for their arms. Glancing around the grey atmosphere, Kokichi noticed the large tree looming over them, sticks calling his name. Standing, Kokichi wiped the snow from the railing opposite Shuichi and jumped onto it, ignoring the concerned questions from the other two. Reaching out, Kokichi felt his fingertips brush the wooden sticks, but they were just out of reach. I will get them!
Leaning further forward, Kokichi grabbed the stick and grinned in accomplishment. Feeling the stick break from his weight, Kokichi yelped as he plummeted into the previously untouched snow, more plummeting down around him from the tree. He heard laughter as Rantaro and Shuichi peeked down at him from the railing. "Hold on, I'll come and get you," Shuichi sighed, smiling as he disappeared from the purplette's view.
Kokichi heard crunching and shifting of snow as Shuichi appeared beside him, lifting the male to his feet. The two climbed back onto the porch, the stick still clutched in Kokichi's fist. Stabbing it into the side of the spherical stack of snow, Kokichi frowned. I need to complete this or it'll haunt me forever.
"Looking for this?" Rantaro asked, leaning over to grab a stick from the tree where Kokichi previously fell.
"Tall bitch," Kokichi muttered, snatching the stick from the male and breaking it into the appropriate length, stabbing it into the other side of the snowman. Smiling, Kokichi stared at his accomplishment with pride, despite his dream of creating a ginormous snowman, he was proud that he made a tiny one.
Turning around, he watched as Rantaro and Shuichi laughed with each other. Small flecks of snow littered Rantaro's green hair and Shuichi's eyelashes, partially stained from eyeliner and mascara. The fabric of Shuichi's grey beanie was interwoven with snowflakes, beginning to melt from their natural body heat. Facing his snowman, Kokichi frowned at it.
Now that he'd looked away, the snowman didn't look nice to him, and he wanted to remake it. I'll do that tomorrow. Stomping on the small white man, Kokichi chuckled as it contorted into nothing but a pile of white powder, pebbles and splinters. He continued to smile as the snow crushed beneath his shoe. "Kokichi, we're taking you to therapy."
"No!" Kokichi frowned.
"Yes!" Rantaro retorted, reaching out to grab his arms. "You're insane."
"No, you are!" Kokichi returned the light-hearted insult, pretending to struggle against Rantaro's false restriction. Hearing a click, Kokichi turned to see Shuichi holding his phone up, lowing it with a smile.
"What? You two looked cute," Shuichi shrugged.
"Let me see," Rantaro asked, glancing over the male's shoulder at the photo. Using the chance, Kokichi leapt into the snow, wading through the obstruction until he was behind Rantaro. Grinning maliciously, Kokichi jumped up and grabbed his leg, shouting at the male. Rantaro yelped and stumbled in fright, falling beside Kokichi on his back.
Laughing, Kokichi jumped on Rantaro, pinning him to the snowy blanket as he stared at Shuichi. "I'm taking him hostage! You need to kiss me to get him back!"
Sighing, Shuichi knelt and leaned towards the purplette. "If I must," he joked, planting a brief kiss on Kokichi's lips.
Laughing, Kokichi gripped Rantaro closer. "I lied! He's mine now!"
"Oh no, I guess this is the last of our relationship Shuichi," Rantaro joked with a monotone voice. Kokichi turned and kissed the greenette, holding him tight in a hug as the two lay in the snow. Another click attracted their attention to the bluenette, holding his phone up again as it took another photo.
"Hey, look, two snow angels," Shuichi chuckled.
"That was fucking horrible," Kokichi groaned.
"And sweet," Rantaro grinned.
