Kokichi groaned as he stretched out his arms, opening his eyes to see sunlight shining on the walls of the bedroom. Hearing scuffling and whispers, the male rolled over, noticing both Shuichi and Rantaro slipping on their clothes for the day. Sitting up on the soft mattress, Kokichi grabbed his phone whilst being as quiet as possible so he didn't alert his boyfriends. Grinning, the male snapped a picture of the other two shirtless men, laughing as they jumped and turned their attention to him.
"K-Kokichi what the hell?!" Shuichi yelped, concealing his bare skin with the shirt he held in his hands.
"Again?" Rantaro sighed.
"What? You can't blame me, can you?! I'm not sharing it with anyone who doesn't pay me, relax," Kokichi chuckled. Slipping his phone back onto the table beside him, Kokichi gathered the blankets in his hands and wrapped them around himself. "Come on, get dressed!"
"I'll never understand you," Shuichi sighed and slipped into his shirt. Rantaro did the same, grinning like a madman at the entertainment.
"You love me," Kokichi teased, sticking out his tongue like a child.
"Yeah, I love you both," Shuichi smiled, staring down at the floor and shoving his hands into his pockets. Kokichi frowned, analysing the detective's strange body language. When he looks down and hides his hands, he usually has something he's not telling us. I won't push it though, he'll tell us when he feels comfortable.
"This is nice and all but I'm going back to bed," Kokichi informed the two, slipping underneath the covers and curling them to his cheek. He knew he wouldn't get back to sleep, it was impossible for him, but it wasn't time to leave the warmth of the soft bed. At least he could just daydream for a while before facing reality, which the purplette often found tedious.
"No you're not, come on, it's almost eleven," Shuichi huffed. Kokichi heard a few soft steps on the carpet before a hand shook his upper arm.
"No! Give me a few more minutes!" Kokichi argued, whining like a child having to get up early on the weekend. "Or more like a few hours," he added. A pair of hands slipped underneath Kokichi's arms, lifting the small male into the air. Shuichi placed the squirming boy on his feet, standing Kokichi up beside the bed.
Frowning, Kokichi turned away from Shuichi and slipped back underneath the covers, curling into a ball with a malicious grin. "Come on Kokichi, you know you won't get to sleep again, you might as well get out of bed," Rantaro tried to reason with the male.
"I'm mentally tired so let me mentally sleep," Kokichi groaned. By now, he'd been active enough that he'd have no chance at falling back asleep no matter what, but it was the principle of the situation. Kokichi was running on pure spite and no one, not even his boyfriends, would sway him from his mission.
"Maybe you wouldn't be so tired if you didn't stay up so late eating candy," Shuichi reminded the guitarist. The night prior, Kokichi had used a chair to reach the cabinet where his boyfriends had stored the candy. He grabbed a bunch of it and spent all night snacking away on the sugary treats. When Rantaro and Shuichi returned home from work, they weren't pleased with him and threatened to ground him from the candy for a week or two. Kokichi knew they wouldn't though, he could get around any punishment they threw at him, and they knew that better than anyone else.
"Maybe if you stayed up late eating candy you'd feel better," Kokichi chuckled, peeking at Shuichi from behind the duvet. "Now, goodnight!"
"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em," Rantaro muttered, lifting the covers and slipping in beside the purplette. Kokichi felt the greenette's arms wrap around him, providing him with warmth physically and emotionally. Hearing Shuichi groan from behind him, Kokichi felt a cold breeze on his back that was soon replaced with the detective, wrapping his arms around the two as best he could.
"Hey, you two are fully dressed, you're not allowed to be in bed now," Kokichi argued. He didn't attempt to move since he enjoyed the attention that his boyfriends always supplied him, knowing how clingy he could be. A soft snore responded to Kokichi's comment, along with a chuckle from Shuichi.
"I didn't think Rantaro was so tired," Shuichi muttered, reaching over Kokichi to plant a kiss on the greenette's forehead.
"Yeah, I thought you'd fall asleep instantly," Kokichi remarked. "Anyway, sleepy time!" He cheered with a whisper so he didn't disturb the hunter. Kokichi grinned as the three hugged each other close, the sunlight peeking in at them.
Unfortunately for Kokichi, Shuichi knew one way to make him fall asleep without fail.

Kokichi frowned as he rubbed his eyes, blinking rapidly as he glanced around the room. What? Did I fall asleep again? That never happens... Stretching his tired body, the purplette noticed Rantaro still holding onto him, groaning as he woke up too. "Morning sleepyhead!"
"Morning, or is it afternoon? We slept in way too long..." Rantaro sighed. "Wait, did you fall back asleep?"
"I might've had something to do with that..." Glancing at the bedroom door, Kokichi noticed Shuichi entering with a tray of breakfast foods. "When we went back to bed I started playing with Kokichi's hair, I know it relaxes him," Shuichi explained.
"Wow, rude," Kokichi huffed, crossing his arms with a pout.
"Have you made breakfast at midday?" Rantaro asked, motioning to the food.
"Oh, uh, yeah, here!" Shuichi stumbled over his words, nerves seeming to take control of his movements. I wonder what's wrong with him...
Kokichi and Rantaro sat on the edge of the bed, eating their food happily as the three talked about meaningless things. That was until Kokichi noticed something hidden on the tray. "Uh, Shumai, what's this?~" With a grin, Kokichi held up the thing silver ring adorned with a small sparkle.
Shuichi's face grew red as he shifted the trays of food to the side, gingerly taking the ring from Kokichi's fingers. "We've been talking about marriage lately and, correct me if I'm wrong but, I feel like we're ready for that step. Kokichi, Rantaro, I love you both more than anything, and I know I always will until the day I die. You both mean the world to me, and I don't want to live without you. Will you both marry me?"
Tears dripped down Kokichi's cheeks as he cried, staring at Shuichi with wide eyes. "I-I'm ready too," Kokichi muttered with a grin.
"Why would I say no?" Rantaro smiled. Shuichi picked up another ring from Rantaro's tray, slipping one onto each of the other males. Kokichi jumped out of the bed and wrapped his arms around Shuichi's neck, kissing the male with a deep adoring urgency. Peeling away from the detective, Kokichi watched through teary eyes as they shared a kiss of their own. As they pulled away, Kokichi chuckled and jumped on Rantaro, pulling him into the same kiss.
The three grinned at each other, sunlight illuminating the room like an angel congratulating them on the accomplishment. Kokichi stared at the ring on his finger replacing the band of silver signifying a promise to each other. This one, however, was different, this one signified their lifelong bond together.
This one signified to Kokichi the truth of his fiancees' love.
