Slowly closing the door, Kokichi winced as the hinges announced his arrival. He'd snuck out that night and hoped he could get away with it, but the light behind him suggested otherwise. "Kokichi!" Turning around, the purplette felt his body tug into Shuichi's arms, the taller male enveloping him in a tight hug. Rantaro stood behind them, his arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed. "We were so worried!"
"It's four in the morning, where have you been?" Rantaro demanded.
The corners of Kokichi's lips spread into a malicious grin. "Why don't you come and find out?" Turning on his heel, Kokichi swung open the garage door he'd entered. He heard Rantaro and Shuichi follow him as he circled around to the trunk, popping it open to reveal four hefty cardboard shopping bags.
"You... Went shopping all night?" Shuichi asked, his face contorted in complete disbelief.
"Not just shopping!" Kokichi chuckled, gripping the handles of two bags. "Help me get all of this inside. Oh, and no peeking!" Hauling the load into the house, Kokichi watched as Rantaro and Shuichi followed him to the kitchen, each fighting the urge to peek at their luggage. With a childish yet antagonistic grin, Kokichi grabbed the bottom of a bag, yanking it into the air.
The contents clattered and thudded to the kitchen counter, one or two of them falling to the floor, but Kokichi didn't care. Kokichi hurried to empty every single bag, piling the kitchen counter with the contents of his nighttime escapade. Placing his hands behind his head and throwing the empty bags behind him, Kokichi laughed.
Chocolate bars, gummies, lollipops, hard candies, sour candies, chewing gum, bubble gum, sherbet, caramel candies, jellies and plenty of others littered the room. With every mix of candy in existence, the stench wafted throughout the home, making the trio grimace.
"Ouma Kokichi, you are not spending the next decade eating nothing but candy," Shuichi ordered, placing his hands on his hips like a stern mother.
Kokichi huffed, crossing his arms over his chest as he pouted. "I'm not that stupid! I'd die, dumbass!" Although, I would be lying if I said I didn't wish it were possible.
"This has been fun and all, but can we go to bed? Neither of us has slept while waiting for you to come home," Rantaro yawned.
"No," Kokichi huffed, grabbing a tiny chocolate bar from the pile of candy and popping it into his mouth.
"Kokichi, come on," Shuichi begged, his head tilting with a slight pout. Sighing, the purplette whined and meandered to the staircase, leading the other two toward their bedroom. Abandoning the accumulation of candy, the three slipped into their shared bed, tangling their limbs in comfort as they closed their eyes. Not realising how tired he was, Kokichi's body forced him into sleep.

Yawning, Kokichi grumbled as he woke up, sunlight peeking through the curtains. Untangling his arms and legs from the others in the bed, Kokichi slipped out from underneath the blankets, stretching as he awoke. The male wasn't someone to go back to sleep after waking up, so once he was awake he stayed that way unless Shuichi or Rantaro forced him to go back to bed.
Memories of his adventure the night earlier flashed before the purplette's eyes, bringing a grin to his face. I can have candy for breakfast! Turning to his boyfriends to ensure they were asleep, Kokichi watched as Shuichi grabbed Rantaro's arm, curling up with it held to his chest. Kokichi chuckled, slowly opening the bedroom door and sneaking downstairs, carefully avoiding the creaky step.
With a wild grin on his face, Kokichi entered the kitchen to a sight that made his brows furrow. Where's the candy? All of the treats he'd bought the night prior had disappeared, not a trace of them to be seen. They must've hidden it all while I was asleep, rude bitches. Pouting, Kokichi decided to check through the kitchen, opening each cabinet and drawer for a hint of the missing sugary delights.
Hearing soft thuds behind him, Kokichi turned to see Rantaro leaning against the counter with a smirk, his eyes blinking rapidly as they adjusted to the light. "Looking for something?"
"You bitch, what did you do with the candy?" Kokichi glared, crossing his arms. "I spent a lot of money on that, you know?!" The money wasn't a true issue for the male, as he'd used his share of the earnings he'd received from a previous gig. Although the three weren't strangers to buying gifts for themselves, they tried to limit how often they did. They always had money to spare on those things but preferred to keep an amount for emergencies in case one of them lost their job. Being the lead face of a semi-popular band, a detective and a treasure hunter had its perks.
"Did you check the cabinets?" Rantaro asked with mischievous glints behind his leafy-green eyes.
"Of course!" Kokichi groaned with an exasperated sigh.
"Really?" Rantaro chuckled, pushing away from the counter so he could approach the male. He bowed his head, lowering himself until their eyes were level with each other. "What about the ones up top?"
Kokichi's mouth hung open as he gasped, shoving Rantaro back with an offended chuckle. "Okay fuck you," he huffed. The male wasn't too short, but still shorter than both of his boyfriends, his eye level reaching around their shoulders. Unfortunately, he couldn't reach the cabinets towards the top of the kitchen walls and had to get one of the others to do it. Sometimes Shuichi even had trouble, being slightly shorter than Rantaro.
Rantaro's grin never faltered during the fiasco. "Do you need help, shortie?"
"Hmph, no," Kokichi muttered.
"Fine," Rantaro smiled, reaching up to the cabinets and opening them for the purplette.
"Why'd you put them up there?! You cunt, I hate you," Kokichi whined, false tears pricking his violet eyes. Rantaro only laughed, knowing Kokichi never meant anything he said. If Kokichi had meant to insult him, the male's body language would match his words. Anyone close to the guitarist could read his body language well and knew when he meant to insult someone or not.
"If you want some of it, you'll have to ask Shuichi or me, okay? You know as well as I do that this is for your own good. I know you were coming here to eat candy for breakfast." Having set the rule in place, Rantaro shut the cabinet door. Nothing is stopping me from using a chair to reach it where they're not home.
"Okay Dad," Kokichi groaned, rolling his eyes. As the two were discussing the candy, neither had heard nor noticed Shuichi approaching them, rubbing sleep from his eyes.
"Huh? Since when did you have a daddy kink Kokichi?" Shuichi asked with a yawn. Rantaro and Kokichi shared an amused glance before laughing, jolting Shuichi awake from the sudden noise. Neither two dared to explain, leaving Shuichi in the dark as they continued laughing together.
