Kokichi rolled his eyes and switched off the television. All the channels only wanted to report on a major historical find by an anonymous historian recently. Repeated interview after repeated interview aired, and they weren't even with Rantaro, who'd truly found the library. "Was Amami involved in that?" One of the band members, Akira, asked the guitarist.

"No way in hell! He's just a salvager, ya know?" Kokichi argued, slipping his guitar strap over his shoulder. Rantaro wants to remain anonymous, so I won't reveal his secret. I don't blame him considering he could be arrested for it. Been there, done that. Strumming a chord on his guitar, Kokichi smiled at the tune, happy with how it sounded. "Alright, we need to practice this new song, break's over," he ordered the band. "Shuichi will be home soon, so we don't have much longer to practice," he warned.

Hideaki snatched his drumsticks and slipped behind the drum kit, preparing himself to start the main beat. Akira slipped her bass guitar over her shoulders, testing a chord. Tama slipped into a stool and tested a tiny tune on his keyboard. "Actually," Tama spoke up before the group could start. "Can we try something new this time?"

"What's up Tama?" Kokichi asked. He always wanted to make his band members feel comfortable, so when they had a suggestion, Kokichi always worked together with the band to make it happen. No matter what, Kokichi always either implemented the suggestion or created a compromise. Anything to make the people closest to him happy.

"I want to change my instrument," the raven-haired male mumbled, stumbling to his backpack where he pulled out a launchpad.

"We can try it," Akira smiled, her wild, golden eyes sparkling with curiosity. She'd always been the type to try anything, never turning down a challenge. Unfortunately, her personality collided with Tama's sometimes, as the latter could be submissive and bashful occasionally.

"I'm down!" Hideaki grinned.

"Alright, let's test this out!" Kokichi shook his hands to rid himself of his excited trembling.

Hideaki tapped his drumsticks together, shouting out to start the song. "Three, two, one!" Everyone began playing an unreleased song, the keyboard replaced with the launchpad. Finishing the first verse, Kokichi stopped playing, the rest of the band following suit.

"Woah, Tama that sounds amazing!" Kokichi cheered.

"I don't know, I don't think it works as well," Akira frowned. Oh no, here comes another argument.

"I can't keep playing the keyboard anymore! It's the same three notes over and over and I'm sick of it!" Tama shouted, pale green eyes glaring into Akira's. The two argued with each other as Kokichi and Hideaki rolled their eyes. Although each of them would die for each other, once Tama and Akira began arguing, it took ages for them to stop.

"I have an idea!" Hideaki gasped, interrupting the brewing disagreement. He jumped out from behind his drum kit and grabbed a guitar amp in the corner of the garage. "Why don't you plug this into the keyboard? It might destroy the amp, but I've seen this done before and I think I can set it up right!"

"Yeah, we can try that," Kokichi nodded.

"Won't that add just another guitar sound? We've got Kokichi on electric and me on bass, do we need another?" Akira sighed.

"She makes a point," Kokichi shrugged. He'd wanted to point that out too, but Tama seemed quite upset about his instrument and Kokichi wanted to make him happy. In any other circumstance, Kokichi would make up an excuse to give up his guitar and sing, but when they'd started he found it impossible to sing without something else to occupy his hands.

Kokichi leaned his guitar against the wall and helped Hideaki set up the guitar amp in the unusual setting. Hideaki played around with the keyboard settings, testing random tunes until he found what he wanted. "There! Let's try that!" Retaking their positions, the band restarted the song, singing the first verse and chorus with the new sounds.

As the chorus trailed off, the group smiled at each other. "It'll need more tuning, but I reckon we can make it work! Maybe we could add another background noise, like record another beat and play it whilst we perform?" Kokichi suggested.

"Sounds perfect," a voice spoke from the inner entrance of the garage, accompanied by clapping. Kokichi glanced over and noticed Rantaro leaning against the doorframe with a smirk. "Sorry to disturb your art, guys, could I talk to Kokichi for a second?"

"Of course!" Akira grinned, jumping over to take Kokichi's guitar and shoving him towards the greenette. She's such a fangirl, Jesus Christ. Kokichi pushed Rantaro through the door, closing it behind them as he grinned at Rantaro.

"What's up 'Mami? Need a quickie?" Kokichi chuckled.

"No, and why is that your question every time I ask to talk to you?" Rantaro sighed. "Anyway, I couldn't help but overhear the argument between Akira and Tama. If you want, I can ask Iruma to help make an invention for Tama?"

Kokichi's eyes widened, his lips parting in surprise. "Y-You'd do that?! Oh my God, I love you Rantaro!" He shouted, clinging to Rantaro and kissing him deeply, his hands gripped the greenette's toned cheeks. "I love you, I love you, I love you!"

Rantaro laughed and kissed the tip of Kokichi's nose. "I know you do."

"Is that what you wanted to talk to me about? There's something else, isn't there?" Kokichi smirked. He could read people like a book, especially people such as his boyfriends and bandmates. Rantaro's breathing hitched as it usually did when he struggled to find his phrasing, hinting to Kokichi that there was more information.

"You know me too well," Rantaro smiled, kissing Kokichi's forehead. "Shuichi called me a few minutes ago. Someone broke into the car and I need to go and pick him up. He said the car is driveable but he's a bit shaken, so I'm going to calm him down."

"Do you want me to come with you?" Kokichi asked.

"No, it's fine. It's a good thing the incident happened at the detective agency, they've got more surveillance than a courtroom."

"Alright, stay safe! If you don't come home within two hours, I'll assume you're both dead and shoot myself!~" Kokichi grinned, giving Rantaro one last kiss before turning around and skipping into the garage to pack up for the day.
