Sakiya stares down the almost animal-like demon that continues to growl at her and the child behind her. She slows her breathing allowing for more oxygen to flow into her.
She feels her eyes start to glow brighter before she takes a step forward and lunges at the demon.
Her eyes narrow in on its neck aiming her blade at it and slices towards it. Her eyes widen as the metal makes contact with its neck and rings out loudly. The demon swipes its arm up at her and she shifts her grip on the handle so that she can push against the demon.
Shoving herself upwards she flips and lands behind the demon 'Its neck is armored. I can chip it away but it will take many hits to get through that thick skin' she thinks and rushes over to the little boy as the demon lunges at him.
Sliding on her knees she stabs her sword into the tatami floor "Shiden Tempest breathing: eighth form sonic burst"
As the pulse of pressurized air hits the demon it goes flying back and she lunges at it striking against its neck chipping at its armor with every hit. Gritting her teeth she jumps back slightly panting "Fine, the hard way it is" she mutters watching as the demon roars enrages that she keeps striking at its neck.
Her hand tightens around her sword before she goes back to the demon "Ninth form: death's kiss" her sword slams into the demon's neck once more and a ribbon of black light wraps around it moving like it's blowing in the breeze.
As her sword continues on its path due to its momentum every piece of the demon's flesh that it comes into contact with crumbles decaying right before her eyes. It screeches in pain as its skin gets destroyed and the process of it turning to ash is sped up.
Sakiya lands in front of the little boy who watches with wide eyes as the demon screams writhing on the ground as it disappears. Sympathetic eyes stare at the demon's eyes as it dies.
A familiar sensation tugs at Sakiya's consciousness and she allows the pull in.
'I never really wanted to become this but when they killed my only friend I lost any sanity' a soft and gentle voice drifts through her mind. 'Would you like to meet him?'
