"Let them go!" Tanjiro shouts as he rushes at Tengen rearing his head back in preparation to strike him. Tanjiro's eyes widen when he realizes that Tengen has vanished. He faceplants into the ground and Kiyo lands with a harsh thud on Tanjiro's box.
"Are you alright?" Tanjiro asks, looking up at the little girl who slides off the side nodding.
"Did you forget brat I am Tengen Uzui, a former shinobi and the current sound pillar. You think I would just let you hit me with a headbutt?" Tengen asks glaring down at Tanjiro who pulls himself to his feet.
Tanjiro stares up at the man who couches on the archway "Let go of Aoi! You are a kidnapper you no good slayer"
"Yeah what's the big idea huh?"
"You pervert!"
"Why you..." Tengen growls a tick mark appearing on the side of his head. "I am your superior! A Hashira you little insolent brats"
"Yeah well I don't recognize you as one!" Tanjiro shouts back, puffing his cheeks out in a clear sign of rejection making the man finally lose it.
"I don't give a damn if you recognize me as one or not! You are just a snot nosed underling whose brain has rotted away! I need female corps members for my mission so I am taking her. She isn't a Tsuguko so I don't need to ask Kocho for permission!" Tengen defends himself.
"But Naho isn't a corps member!" Kiyo wails and tengen looks at the little girl in his arms before he throws her off the archway "Then I don't need her this one will have to do"
Shouts of outrage rise up from the group below as Tanjiro catches Naho. "You inhuman brute," Tanjiro shouts, stepping forward. "We will go in place of Aoi"
"We?" Tengen echoes and looks on both of his sides as Zenitsu and Inosuke stand atop the fence before jumping towards Tanjiro standing next to him.
"Let go of Aoi you muscled monster freak" Zenitsu stutters as he tries to put on a brave face.
"I just got back but I am not tired. I don't mind going either" Inosuke hollars showing just how much energy the boar headed boy still has.
"If you need a female that bad I wouldn't mind filling that role, Tengen-san" Sakiya's voice softly breaks the others loud ones and Tengen's eyes widen as he realizes Aoi is no longer within his grasp.
