"Mer, I really have to go" Derek chuckled as she kept holding onto him as strong as she could

"One more minute" She giggled softly

"One more minute" Derek chuckled and the girls joined their hug "Where are Addie and Mark?" He frowned

"They're late" Meredith murmured in Derek's chest and noticed him tensing up "We'll be fine. Nothing will happen in such a short time" She tried to keep him calm "Addie is probably moving her whole closet here for the next days"

"Yeah.. Probably" Derek squeezed Meredith closer to his chest, enjoying every single second of it until he really had to leave otherwise he'd miss his flight

"Okay girls, let's wave at daddy when he leaves" Meredith struggled to get up

"Wait" Derek immediately helped her and started regretting saying yes to the whole trip

"It's okay" She chuckled "Go now. I don't want Catherine to ghost me because you missed your flight"

"Promise to call me when something is wrong, please. And accept mom, dad and Addie's help, even Mark's help"

"I promise. Now go" She kissed him before heavily leaning against the door

"Bye daddy" The girls giggled as Derek hugged them one more time

"Going" Derek laughed and went to kiss Meredith once more before finally getting in the car and driving away

"Okay girls, let's wait for aunt Addie and uncle Mark" Meredith sighed and slowly made her way back to the couch. She collapsed in it and really had to fight to stay awake "Let's watch a movie"

"Can I put something on?" Ava smiled

"Yeah" Meredith nodded weakly as her eyes slowly closed

She couldn't remember what happened since until she felt someone carrying her

"Mark?" She opened her eyes

"Hi Mer. I'm bringing you to your room, Addison will be here soon" Mark told her

"Where 'r the girls?" Meredith asked as she felt completely exhausted

"I'll go get them downstairs in a bit so you can snuggle with them. Addison wanted to help you get changed first" Mark softly told her

"Thanks Markie" Meredith whispered

"Let's set you down" Mark helped her sitting down on the bed and they heard Addison walking in

"Can you make popcorn with the girls? They have been begging for it" Addison laughed

"Uncle Mark to the rescue" He laughed "We'll be here in a bit" He kissed Meredith's forehead

"I bought you something" Addison winked and showed Meredith the cashmere sweater she had bought "This is so warm"

"Addie, you really didn't have to do that-" Meredith sighed

"Oh shush. You're my sister" She said and helped Meredith undressing her shirt "Oh my-" She gasped as she removed Meredith's shirt

"I know, it's bad" Meredith whispered

"Oh- I-" Addison started tearing up "I'm sorry"

"Hey, it's okay" Meredith grabbed Addison's hand but started shivering from being shirtless

Addison was on the edge of a complete meltdown once she finished changing Meredith. Mark had brought the girls upstairs and helped them get settled next to their mom
