(Your POV):

"Here's your change!" I handed the little boy who bought a candy bar his change. He took the change and walked out of the DX. As the door was slowly closing from the boy walking out my boyfriend, Sodapop walked in.

"Hey babe!" My face lit up from seeing.

"Hey Brooklyn!" He flashed a Hollywood smile. He came around the counter over to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked him. He didn't respond because he was kissing my cheek repeatedly, with his hands running over my hips and thighs. I smiled as I place my arms around his neck and he picked me up, holding me by my knees. He set me on the counter and we kissed each other.

"It's cool in here!" He pointed out.

"Well it's hot out there." I said.

"How are you and Steve surviving?" I asked.

"I don't know how, but we are!" He sounded surprised. I laughed.

"No, I'm serious." He said.

"Sure you are!" I giggled.

"Have you been out there?" He asked pointing to the door leading into the humid, Tulsa, outdoors.

"No I'm fine, Mr Curtis!" I assured him.

"Well that's good, because you're too hot to begin with!" He said.

"Aww." I awwed. That was cheesy though!

"Do you need anything?" I asked him grabbing him by his DX shirt, and pulling him closer.

"You." He responded. He kissed me and I broke it.

"Do want something to eat, or drink because it's so hot out there?" I offered. He didn't respond, he just gazed at me, looking through my eyes.

"SODA!" I chuckled shaking him.

"What?" He let out a laugh.

"You didn't answer my question!" I whined.

"No, I'm fine, thank you." He smiled.

"Okay, thank you." I smiled looking at him adoringly.

"Hey Soda can you- Holy crap don't scar me!" Steve said walking in and turning away.

"It's okay Steve, what's up?" Soda replied. "I need your help with something." He said looking at the floor, not looking up.

"Okay, I'll be right there." Soda answered and Steve walked out.

"Looks like I better go." He said. I put on a puppy dog face.

"Don't gimme that." He laughed, then I laughed. He let go of me and rounded the corner of the counter.

"Wait!" I stopped him.He was ready to kiss me. Then I interrupted, "No tongues." He stayed in that position whiled I pecked him on the lips.

"Bye Soda!" I flirted.

"You're a tough girl!" He added.

"You're tough guy." I responded. I loves playing that game

"What?" I swiveled around the counter to face him.

"Now give me a kiss and say goodbye!" I begged.
