(Your POV)

"Take the last train to Clarksville and I'll meet you at the station,-" I sang walking to school. The song, Last Train To Clarksville by The Monkees was stuck in my head. Literally. I couldn't get it out. So I sang to myself walking to school. I usually walk to school earlier because I don't want to see my parents much in the morning. You know they're drunks so I have like a half hour-forty-five minutes to kill before school actually starts.

So I kept singing the song and thinking about my crush, Ponyboy. He was my are and he is just so sweet! He's adorable but I think he doesn't like me the same way I do. We're friends I'd say but he just doesn't like me like that. Or I could be wrong...

I got to school and I sat on the ledge of the railings for the stairs with the wall of the school behind me. I kept on singing and wasting time. I looked at my new nails that I had done the other day while I was still singing.

"Wow!" I heard a guy's voice in front of me. I looked up and it was Ponyboy. Shivers sent down my spine.

"I'm sorry,"I gulped, "Did I bother you?"

He looked amazed. "No, no! I just. I didn't know you could sing!" He added.

"Oh no," I blushed, "I can't sing."

"Yes you can! Your voice is beautiful Deanna! Your just....beautiful." He got quiet.

"Thank you." I blushed hard smiling. Then it got silent for awhile.

"Hey, I was wondering. Do you wanna hangout soon?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'd like that!" I smiled. Then we just talked until school started. Whenever we looked at each other during class we both smiled
