(Your POV):

I was sitting on the cold hard bench at the police station. I got caught again for stealing at the corner store. It wasn't technically stealing yet since I only put it in my pocket...Either way I wasn't gonna pay for it though.

Well, living on the streets of Tulsa all by yourself is rough. I can only trust other Greasers, and not very many adults. But the toughest part is staying away from the Socs. If I'm walking down the street and a couple of them slither out of a car, I'm screwed!

I kept going on in my thoughts. Later on a Cop opened the creaky door to the big cell that I was in. I looked up at the Cop and he was leading a Greaser in the cell. The Greaser was mouthing off to the Cop and walking in the cell backwards.

"Next time you should think before touching me, man!" He retorted. His voice seemed awfully familiar.

"Sure kid." The Cop just nodded.

"Sure? I wipe my ass with sure!" The Greaser angrily responded.

"Son of a bitch." He mumbled to himself.

He sounds like Dally! My stomach flipped. I'm not ready! I haven't looked in the mirror in forever! I checked myself over quickly and smoothed my hair. I smoothed out my jeans then I looked up at him. He had a smirk on his face and he was eyeing me cooly.

"Abi?" He asked. Thank goodness he remembered my name!

"Yes, how are ya Dal?" I reassured him.

"How did a pretty broad like you get in a dump like this?" He sounded amazed and he sat down next to me, still checking me out.

"I guess I was "caught" stealing," I explained using my fingers as air quotes, "How about you?"

"Oh I just got into a fight with Tim Shepherd," He answered rubbing his eyes, "How've you been?" He asked.

"Surviving the streets, you?" I asked. He was still staring at me up and down my body, he didn't answer.

"What's up Dal?" I questioned curiously.

"What?- Oh I got distracted." He replied, his eyes were still glued onto me.

"Um Abi, ya wanna go out sometime? Or tomorrow? Whenever ya have time?" He asked.

"I'd love to." I smiled at him. He grinned still acting tuff. He came in closer, I leaned in, and he pressed his lips onto mine. I kissed back.

"Ey! I don't wanna watch y'all make out all night long!" Another Greaser across the cell from us yell. We broke the kiss and we just hung out the whole night at the station!
