Ponyboy Imagine

(Your POV)

My cousin, Two-Bit and I were walking to one of his buddies' house. I had just moved here from California and I was new to town. Two-Bit looked really nervous.

"What's up Two-Bit?" I asked.

He responded, "The more we get closer the more I'm regretting bringing ya along."

"Why?" I asked confused.

"Well these boys are cocky bastards."

He laughed, "Plus you're a young girl."

"I'll be 14 soon!" I grumbled.

"Calm down, it's just, I'm warnin' ya." He said holding the door handle, almost ready to open the door.

Then he barged in the door. All heads turned to me. I have to say, they all looked guilty of something before I walked in! Two-Bit realized they were staring at me then he covered my face.

"Okay, y'all need to put on your mature faces, 'cause there's a young lady among us!" He yelled at the guys.

"This is my cousin Jean." He uncovered my face.

Boy were all these guys cute. But one of them stood out. He looked shy and around my age. Two-Bit introduced all the guys to me. The one that I kinda liked was 14, which is really exciting.

We all talked and listened to music. They asked me questions like where I was from and why I came here. Later on when it was a little bit darker I went outside to get some fresh air and to get out of that crowded house. I sat on the porch and watched the sun sink down to the horizon. Then the door opened behind me. It was Ponyboy, my crush.

"Hi." I smiled feeling my cheeks get hot.

"Hi." He smiled back then lit up a cigarette. He sat next to me on the porch watching the sunset.

"Do you like watching the sun set?" He asked.

"Yeah, I do. It's very..." I got lost trying to look for a word. "Peaceful." I said.

We sat and watched it set as Ponyboy's cigarette smoke filled the air around us. Then he flicked the cigarette away right in front of us. It was silent between us for awhile.

"Do you-" I was cut off by his lips meeting mine.

We broke it after a minute or so. We looked away from each other blushing.

"Sorry, I wanted to do that." He apologized to me.

"It's okay." I smiled.

"Since it's been your first day here would you like for me to take you around town tomorrow." He asked.

"That sounds great! I'd like that!" I smiled leaning in. He leaned in as well and we were about to kiss.

"Busted!!!" Two-Bit yelled behind us laughing his butt off afterwards.

Ponyboy and I got up from the porch blushing. Then I noticed Sodapop and Steve were laughing with Two-Bit.

"Hahah! Boy, ya better not try that again!" Two-Bit warned Pony still laughing.

"Okay, see y'all tomorrow!" Two-Bit laughed lighting a weed.

"Bye." I said to Pony.

"See ya tomorrow."
