"Want to tell me what's going on? Or do I need to confiscate the knives again?"

"Sod off, James." James sighed sitting next to me on the floor and read over the conversation. "Where did I go wrong?"

"You never went wrong with us, Jade. Is that all that's bothering you? Peter betraying us?" He asked noticing the tears in my eyes. "Come on... tell your big brother what's wrong. Maybe he can make it better."

"Every burden was placed on me. Fucking everything... I came up with the map, I found the final step into becoming animagi, and I took care of all of you. I took care of every single burden so shit like this wouldn't happen... And yet it still did."

"You didn't have to place everything on your shoulders, Didi. You could've talked to me. It's my family too."

"How could I? Taking care of my family is the only thing I'm good at! I'm not the perfect sibling or the perfect wife and mother, but I was good at making sure my boys were okay. I just wanted my boys to be okay." I choked out and James engulfed me in a hug.

"It's not your burden to carry, Didi. You did an amazing job in taking care of us, but you barely let us take care of you. You were always the strong one, even as kids." James chuckled. "What Peter did was selfish, but you don't have to go and blame yourself for this! And certainly not apologize to him. It was his decision, therefore it's not your burden to carry."

"But he was my responsibility, Jamie."

"No, he was his mother's responsibility, not yours. You don't have to apologize for something he did... Jade, you're a mother, a wife, teacher, a licensed cursebreaker and a Marauder and Queen. You don't have to apologize for anyone's actions but your own." James smiled pulling away and wiped my tears. "Now how about you and I fly around in our brooms for a while? Then we can cook your favorite food and mum's pie?"

"There's something else, Bam Bam..." I trailed off and he furrowed his eyebrows. "My period's late again."

"So? You're always... wait... NO BLOODY WAY!?"

"BABY NUMBER TWO IS ON ITS WAY!" I screamed and we both jumped around in excitement. "Pad's been waiting for the next Pack dinner, but I couldn't wait to tell you!"

"How far along?"

"Two months. I thought I was just bloating until the smell of meat made me sick and that's when I knew. I didn't get morning sickness or anything." I smiled as James jumped on the bed excitedly.

"Wait! This was planned or surprise?" He asked and I laughed. "It's a valid question!"

"Siri and I have been talking about it for a while and we decided to just wait it out. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, we keep trying until it does. Not that I'm complaining." I smirked and James gagged.

"Is he-"

"A power bottom? He definitely is."
