If only I made a different choice
That night I decided
One cut would be alright

Maybe then I wouldn't have to worry
About the scars
If only I would've stopped myself.
If only I didn't decide
That skipping one meal
Would help me become
My twisted image of beautiful.
If only I made different choices
Before I went blindly into destruction

Then maybe I wouldn't be me
This broken, empty shell of a person
Maybe I would be happier with myself.
