I want to escape
To escape the numbing torture
That I ultimately cause myself
I overthink
And I'm tired of pretending
Pretending to be okay
Pretending to still be sane
I'm slowly going insane
Losing more and more
Of my humanity
And slowly becoming
More and more
Like the monster
That rages inside me.
