You Don't Know Me

If you think i am just going to bow my head down,

And listen to you,

Then you are seriously wrong,

I'm not that kind of girl,

Who gives up right when the going gets tough,

If you push me,

I'll push you back harder,

If you test me,

I'll blow your mind,

You think you can control me,

But you can't.

I don't play by the rules,

And sometimes I can end up only hurting myself,

But still i fight back,

Not caring what will happen in the end.

You think you know me,

But you've got it all wrong,

You don't know me at all,

You don't know how hard I fight,

You don't know,

And you will never understand

How hard it is everyday to look you in the eyes,

And not tell you how many nights,

You have made me cry,

Or how many times I've hurt myself,

Over the pain you have caused me,

But instead I suck it up and play the tough girl,

Cause I know if I admit that,

I'll just be another one of your minions.
