Let me drown
In the dark water
That is my mind
I feel as if
I'm drowning
And everyone around me
Is breathing.
Everyday I sink deeper
And deeper
Allowing my mind
To slowly overcome my soul
My very being
I'm not fighting back
Because I know
It's a hopeless fight
A hopeless fight to survive
Why try
When I know I won't win?
So just let me drown
Let me sink
Deeper and deeper
In the deep, dark waters
That are my mind.
