We are all just lost souls
And angels
Who just want to belong
We are bound to these human bodies
And forced to live a life
That we don't actually live.
We are just bodies
Sewn together with flesh and blood
But deep down
We are so much more than that
Deep down we are just
Lost souls
Trying to find a place to call home
And angels
Who want to go back to heaven.
We may be just humans
Just flesh and blood
And bone
Put together with fake smiles
And promises that everything is going to be okay
But past all of that
Past the thoughts that kill us slowly
Past the demons
Who rage on in our minds
Is who we truly are.
We are nothing but lost souls
And angels
Doomed to live this life
Until we reach the place
We can all finally call home.
